Your fifth wheel hitch may have adjustments that allow rearward adjustment. I had to adjust my B&W Companion hitch. The adjustment provided more clearance. But it is still possible for the front cap of the Bighorn to touch the truck at extreme turning angles. One more thing for my backing...

Sedona is one of our favorite places. Are you staying at Rancho Sedona? We have not visited Sedona in the fifth wheel yet, but I have scoped out the options on our last trip. Rancho Sedona looks like the best/only choice right in town.

I agree. This one stays home in the garage. We use it to power the house during brown outs / black outs. I only mentioned it as it is the same weight as the subject inverter generator.

I have no personal experience with this generator. But I do have a 7,000 watt contractor style generator I use at home. It weighs about as much as the AIMS at 191 pounds. It is “portable” somewhat, in that it can be wheeled from one location to another. It takes 3 people to lift it into the bed...

I needed to replace an LED ceiling light in our Bighorn. I tried Heartland customer service first, but after 2 phone calls I could not get any response. So I bought an identical replacement from eTrailer.

Whatever method you come up to lock the door, it only works if you remember to use it. (Don’t ask me how I know 🙂 ). We added that as an item to our checklist.

When I installed the MORryde pin box on the Bighorn, I torqued the bolts to the proper spec. Then I used a silver marker to add ‘witness’ marks on the bolt heads. See attached photo. Every time I hook up the fifth wheel I glance at the marks.

Has anyone replaced the shock absorbers on their 2017+ Ford Super Duty truck yet? If so, what brand/type/model did you use? My truck has about 33k miles on it with lots of miles towing the 16,000 lb. Bighorn. I am getting some bounce in the rear axle of the truck and thought perhaps the shocks...
