    Dead Bug Removal

    Tar, oil, grease, asphalt, and bugs are easily removed with Naptha/varsol which can be obtained at your local Lowe's, or Home Depot......You will need to re-wax, as these products remove it all.....Just apply to a rag or sponge.

    djg57, We also have a 3100RL, and there is a 12v outlet in the basement on the wall next to the vac, I had one installed on the front wall also for refer/freezer. There is also one on the underside of the cabinet above and to the right of the stove. Good luck, John

    I believe the tale should stay screwed to the floor as it will tend to move and possibly rub up against the wall/window etc. As for the speakers, there are a pair of switches in the bedroom next to the light switch that turn on/off the speakers in our Bighorn. Good Luck, John

    Leftyf, I have the same truck with the Z71 package, and pull a 3100rl. We have drive from texas to Calif with no problems and believe the suspension to be almost perfect for this size trailer. Seems to ride just right, without the suspension ever bottoming out. Check your headlights at night...

    Does cold tap water have an odor? If the unheated water has no odor, try putting cold water in a pan and heat it on the stove, check for odor. Water can aquire an odor when whatever is in it cooks. How do you like your 3100RL...We love our....Great Floor Plan John

    Power Stabilizer - problem

    Be careful using a naik insteal of a roll pin as it will not shear when it should. It acts as a fuse so you do no bend anything or damage your motor. Be very careful.

    You could get a roll of wrapping/shipping strech wrap and wrap the pinbox. A roll would last a long time and protect the pinbox. Besides it would be like Christmas unwrapping it each time. John

    BigHorn 3055 Pocket Door- off track

    Rick, The dolly is a 2 piece unit...swing type lock attached to door and pin/cam on track...I had the same problem; but my pin/cam stayed on the track and with a coat hange and flashlight was able to retrieve it and reconnect. You may want too safety wire the swing lock closed. Goos luck, John
