Microwave always dies between 2.5 and three minutes!

I wanted to conclude this thread by publicly thanking Midwest Sales and Service Inc, Cari for monitoring this forum and putting me in contact with Tammi. I dealt with Tammi, she sent me the box in which I returned my oven. It was returned back to me a couple of weeks ago but we had to wait to...

    Wet and Forget cleaner???

I haven't used this product on my rubber roof but I did use it back in March on my deck which was covered in black mold. Here in the south we have a huge mold problem with everything. We had a very wet spring and the black mold was forming so rapidly I bought the product from Costco and applied...

Microwave always dies between 2.5 and three minutes!

Cari, Thank you, I have talked to Tammi who was extremely helpful and gave me my options. There is no way we can get power to our coach to have an appliance repair person come look at it so I feel the best way to get this resolved and feel comfortable with it is the option that Tammi suggested...

Thank you for all the responses. I will be calling but have to go and get my "Heartland" file that I left in the camper which is stored a long way from home!

    Dim Lights

Can't give you a technical explanation but yes I thought this was normal it has always happened to us. I always thought that there was only so much power you could pull through and that shared over a lot of things you get less (as in slightly dimmer lights) than shared over fewer things ...

Microwave always dies between 2.5 and three minutes!

We have had on going different problems with our oven. Last year all the lights on the electronic pad died. You could hit buttons and the microwave would work but the display was dead so you had no clue what it was doing. It would also keep tripping out and resetting prior to this. Our dealer...

Value Added Tax = Vat on RV's !

The Senate went on record Thursday as overwhelmingly opposed to a value-added tax. They approved a resolution by 85-13 declaring the penalty a "massive tax increase that will cripple families on fixed income." In the Senate, twelve Democrats and one Republican voted against the...

    31QBS Kitchen Storage

I too don't like having stuff left all over the trailer - can't help it - just the way I am.:o We needed more storage too and I felt the wall above the cupboard in the bunkhouse was wasted space. In another post (that I can't find at the moment) I showed pictures of how we had removed the...

    sliding door on 310QB

I find it hard to believe that Heartland has not implemented a most simple little fix for this and it has come up on these forums time and time again. Everyone has this problem with these sliding doors and it is so easy to remedy. So until they (Heartland) do, you'll need to fix your doors back...

    Cabinet in 31QBS bunkhouse.

In previous posts on TheNorthtrailers.com I have said that I wanted to add a chest of drawers to the bunkhouse and reposition the existing cupboard to sit on top making it like an armoir and filling that empty wasted wall space. Well we have finally done it. I found that Ikea "Malm" 3...

South Alabama or Northwest Florida, would love info on something near the water.

If you're ok with no sewer hook up and want to be literally on the waters edge try St. Andrews SP and if you really like peace and tranquility you can't beat St. George.

    Advice Needed Removing Bunkhouse Cupboard

I am planning on making a floor to ceiling armoir out of the existing bunkhouse cupboard in our 31QBS. I have found the exact 3 drawer chest that I want to install on the bottom and then I plan to remove the existing cupboard and mount it on top. Does anyone know exactly what it takes to remove...

North Trail 26rk - How to carry bikes?

Well I'm not really sure if you're asking for suggestions on carrying bikes or opinions on attaching a trailer to your trailer. The latter I personally wouldn't consider but I know people do. We had an issue with transporting 5 bikes as we have one of those super looking moulded, color coded...

    Helen, GA

I live about an 1.5 hrs south of Helen, GA. I have been there numerous times. There are no really steep grades going directly north up GA 400 to it but it depends on your approach. Coming across from the north west, yes there are some significant climbs. I would not want to tow through Helen...

    Removing Vinyl Decals ?

I removed my front graphics due to having a front cap repair job done on my North Tail. I was going to use a hairdryer but the sun was streaming down on the front and I decided to just see if it would come off. It was very easy - just pull slowly and very steadily and they come off just like...

    moisture / mildew

Not that I have stayed in FLorida for an extended period of time but I do live in humid Atlanta and my 31qbs is stored for long periods of time in the humidity. The reason I am saying about this is that I have never had a problem with mold/mildew/dampness and I have always used Damprid...

    Sundance 310QB question

I have the North Trail 31QBS - basically the same trailer. I have exactly the same issues. This is how we deal with it. In the bathroom we changed the rotaire for one that you can close or at least reduce the flow considerably. That has made a big difference. In the bunkhouse we run a small...

    rear bumper bike rack

We thought about a retrofit with this but very quickly decided that due to the lovely molded unique rear bumper on the North Trail that contains all the rear lights (the original models) it would almost definately be cost prohibitive and ruin the look of the back of the camper which I personally...

    NT 26 RKS Towing Question

Welcome Pocohorse, Congrats on your upcomming purchase - a great choice. We sold our Coleman Bayside to buy our 31QBS. I know exactly what you are talking about regarding sway or fish tailing with the Bayside - great popup but not well balanced - had to keep that front storage trunk full...

    Going Thru Atlanta Southbound

I am from Atlanta and as far as the floods and 285 there is no problem. For the most part I agree that you are better off taking 75 straight through town especially as you have the HOV lanes but I would say between 10 - 2. However there has been lots of construction lately so it's still best...

    Happy Mole Day!

I spent yesterday evening with my 10th grade daughter making a little black stuffed mole. He was the second one I'd helped with. I did the same thing with my 10th grade son last year. Sliding Doors

There is no two ways about this - it is poor design. I love my 31QBS and I do think it's very well made but this is one tiny thing that I really think could be resolved easily and I am very surprised it still has not been addressed. Everyone with these sliding doors has the same issue from day...

    Trailer Storage

In the metro Atlanta area it's very hard to fine a place you have to go on a waiting list. We originally had to store ours 30 miles way for $65/mth. We now have a place that's 14 miles away for $70/mth. A really new hi tech facillity, full security, cameras everywhere and a great area. A couple...

    considering the 32Qbss

That is a lovely trailer but is very long. Beside the towing aspect of it the length can also limit you when it comes to camp sites. That's what we have found with our 31QBS. I personally wouldn't want to go any longer than what we have for that reason but we do have the bunk house with 4 bunks...

NT Holding Tank Issue - Empty but registers at 1/3 full

We have a North Trail 31qbs with the black tank flush. Our reading has never been accurate. No matter how much we clean out it says different things. I completely ignore it now. I have got to know roughly how long we can camp - with 5 of us, 'tll we get to full capacity. If camping for a week...

Half TIme Oven - Fixed and love it!

I think yours must be defective. I have used mine a fair bit and it works exactly as it should. I really think it's great but you absolutely have to use the metal tray in order for the heat to circulate around (and underneath) your food. I would contact the manufacturer.
