What size/configuration of rubber gasket should I order to replace what's worn out on our BC 3250TS?

    Snowbird loves fishing

This is our second year at Okeechobee, FL, where we'll be until April, '13. Delightful weather, good friends, and "downhome" folks. Dew Drop Inn RV Park is in our budget.

    Lowering Kitchen Cabinet

Instead of moving the whole cabinet, consider adding space at the bottom to accommodate certain items. Store lightweight, seldom-used items on those upper shelves. I put mine in a box, and I can reach it and lift the box out and down.

    Dish TV for RVers

We have Dish at home, too, got the deal for two receivers, so we don't have to move one. We use it whether we're home or gone--we just call dish to install local networks wherever we are if we're staying for a while, like now. We're in Okeechobee, FL till March (live in NC) and get just what...

EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: SC, Charleston - 11/4/2011 to 11/6/2011

I had no idea there was such an organization as the Rallyholics, but it makes sense. Can't wait to see everybody again. JP and Rita

    Kitchen Wall

Not much, but we have our paper towel holder mounted vertically just to the right of the sink and that electrical outlet there. To the right of that, I've hung three small pictures, and over the sink we have a "love picture" that our great-granddaughter drew for us put up with tacky putty...

    Dish Network problems

I called Dish to drop local channels in NC and install local channels in South TX with no problem. Maybe you just need to ask the person to speak to his/her supervisor OR as if Directv has a better system? They really don't know all the answers. Hold back a payment or two to get their...

interior cabinets come open while on the road

First of all, don't put anything heavy in the upper cabinets. Then if the latch isn't tight, consider replacing the part installed in the cabinet, not on the door. We've only had one door come open (the one above the chair in the rear of the unit) and that's because I put something heavier...

    Olevia tv replacement

The Olevia tv in our 2009 BC 3250TS has a black rectangle in the center of the screen after it gets warmed up. Sometimes the rectangle has words in it (they don't make sense, though), and we're anticipating replacing this unit. Since it's mounted on a "swinging door" frame, are we limited as...

First Trip with Big Country 3250 TS

We have the same rig model that you have, and we love it. We've installed a small chest freezer in the center of the clothes closet, and we unscrewed the table from the floor so we could turn it a quarter turn and both sit and look out the window while we eat. Also, when we have company, we...

    Camper Signs

I've painted some of these signs on red cedar for several RVers; ours is in the shape of North Carolina and includes our dogs' names inside a bone shape. Also flowers and a star that shows our home site. I've done state flowers, hummingbird, bluebird, etc. If you want to see pictures, email...

09 Fall Rally Agenda & Notices

Re: yardsale--I can't remember where I'm supposed to list what I'm bringing, but I have a Belkin wireless unit that I don't need anymore--excellent condition--and some handpainted glassware (wine goblets, cake dome) that the ladies might like, and some crocheted necklaces that I make. We're...

Taking a Poll on a regional rally in the east

We'd love to "hobnob" with other Heartlanders, as long as we're back from Texas in time to do so (from April on, I suppose). JP & Rita
