    Check your spare tire.

How do you get the darn thing off? And, how do you tighten it? I'm pretty good at mechanical issues, but this one has me stumped.

Spare tire & front end warp

Our 28' RLS has developed a warp in the front of the TT. Like the wind has put an arc/crease in the front just under the name North Trail by Heartland. Also, I may have to put some calking along the bottom of the front as it looks not to be tight there. Also, our spare time under the hitch...

What's up with YOUR North Trail travel trailer?

We bought our new 28' RLS in February. I retire next week and then we head west ... fulltiming! Gas would have to reach $10 a gal to keep us off the road. We love the 28' North Trail TT. The living area is just what we looked for. Now have two Direct TV receivers installed (one in the...

    Slide out 28RLS question

This may have been answered previously, but I can't find an answer. The manaul for the TT does not address the question of ... "'how do I get the slide in when it won't slide in normally by electrical power?" Is there a wrench I didn't receive? Is there a way to get the slide if the...

    Have these problems?

Moving forward worked! I lowered the hitch on the ball, moved the TV forward a tiny bit and the latch locked into place. I was reminded by the dealer's service department to position the ball 1/8 inch forward of the hitch before lowering the hitch. That has worked now for me. Thanks...Larry

    Have these problems?

We just bought (last week) a new 2008 North Trail by Heartland. The guys at the RV site had real trouble getting the hitch latch to work, but after an hour got it latch down. Today, when I went to hitch up the TT, the latch would not go down. (And I'm not a whimp at this sort of thing! lol.)...
