Disappointed? Yes. Disgusted? Unfortunately yes as well.

I did not speak directly with Heartland, but I can assure you, I am completely satisfied that the dealer did - I don't want to go into details and am hoping you can...read between the lines on that. And I just want to reiterate, the caulking on top of the window was good, the sides had none...

Disappointed? Yes. Disgusted? Unfortunately yes as well.

HI Dane, you're right, it was a 14 the dealer had had in stock. But here's the problem: the delamination occurred below a window - a window that was only caulked across the top by the factory - none, absolutely none, on the sides...or bottom. Why? Because they are supposedly bedded t the factory...

Disappointed? Yes. Disgusted? Unfortunately yes as well.

I am no longer a North Trail owner. We bought our 23RBS new last year. We had problems including a complete rebuild of the dinette slide, but we enjoyed the trailer immensely. But over the winter the left side wall began delaminating - about a 1 foot by 3 foot section. We took pictures and...

    Owners of 2013 NT FX23?

While we dont have the exact same model we have the 2014 23rbs. Other than some roof bubbles that the factory says is normal our NT has been awesome. The few minor issues we had were dealt with quickly by our dealer and HL. The trailer also tows very well- very smooth with no sway using a blue...

ATF: North Trail - NorthTrail 23 Roof Bubbles

We picked up our North Trail 23 in May. It was a 2014 but it was new and is under full warranty. In June we installed a vent cover and took that opportunity to inspect the roof thoroughly (as the dealer suggested) and touched up a little bit of caulking - all was well. Last month I went back up...

    North Trail Roof Bubles

Re: North Trail Roof Bubbles Thanks TBK2. One of my biggest concerns is that the bubbles are right at the leading and trailing roof edges where movement might eventually cause detachment by the membrane, but it also causes the caulking to flex rather dramatically - and I'm doubting the caulking...

Trip Report - North Trail Heads North of Superior

So the last stop on our trip north of Superior was Pancake Bay Provincial Park. Much of the drive was beautiful....can't say the same for the weather. [/IMG] [/IMG] Gas stations with parking (and food) were verrrrry popular with the RV crowd...and they're not overly abundant on...

Trip Report - North Trail Heads North of Superior

Our next stop on our North of Superior trip was Sleeping Giant Provincial Park (Marie Louise Lake CG) about a 640 km drive NW through some rugged and beautiful low mountains. [/IMG] Sleeping Giant is another huge provincial park, again with an excellent interpretive centre. The small...

Trip Report - North Trail Heads North of Superior

During the winter my wife and I purchased our first travel trailer - a North Trail 23RBS. In late June we headed out for our first 'real' roadtrip - a 4101 km three week journey north of Lake Superior. This was our first time in this part of Ontario. The land was far more rugged and...

Congratulations! And great choice. We bought the same model and, as I write this, are enjoying our fourth weekend out with it. The island provides an amazing work space for a trailer this size. Enjoy your new NT - relive those awesome adventures!

through canada to Alaska. Specific questions:

Good advice from GregP. Some pistols would be allowable with the right paperwork. However, You should also be aware that mags that hold more than 10 rounds are prohibited in Canada. You may want to consider mailing those.

Maiden Voyage - North Trail 23RBS

Maiden Voyage - North Trail 23RBS - update post #8 So at long last we picked up our new 23RBS on the weekend. The dealer suggested the shakedown cruise be somewhere close so it was to the local koa. There were some minor problems but none we couldn't rectify ourselves. As you can tell from the...

    Walking on the roof

Newbie question here: I know the NT brochure shows a picture of a vehicle parked atop a roof section but before I climb up to install a couple of roof vent covers on my new trailer I actually thought Id ask here to ensure the NT roof is built to handle my 250 lbs. One of the reasons I ask is a...
