Guys, when you are traveling down the road and it's freaking cold, do you leave your heat on in the RV while you travel? We were coming home and stopped at the ole walmart stop-over and it was freaking cold. :) WHEW! It took a long time to warm up in there. And our bed was SO cold. LOL Thanks.

I am a new RVer and when we purchased this spring, I bought a cover for storage. We purchased a Sundance 2900MK, 5th wheel. Is putting one of these covers on pretty easy? Any tips from experienced RVers? Besides building a pole barn! LOL

Congrats! We got our 2900 from Chesapeake RV this past spring. Love it! We did have one mechanical malfunction and Chesapeake gave us great service. I think their customer service is great and the buying experience there was great. Good luck and have fun. :)

Thanks for the advice, Forrest. It would be nice just to push that button vs. stand on your head, changing that fuse (again). It was doing it right often. Now, it hasn't for some time. I better knock on some wood!

Hey, Boat to .... We live in virginia and too have an 09 2900MK. Love it. Our landing gear has blown it's in-line fuse many times. Wierd. We just need to get the wiring checked out. It's a pain. I keep a hand full of those fuses for back ups. p.s. We bought our RV from Chesapeake...

I agree with a lot of the post above. We looked at a lot of 5vers and kept coming back to the sundance. You could find nicer, but not even close in price.

We ended up taking it back to the dealer. It was a sheared pin that they couldn't have gotten too either. So, I didn't feel so bad (or ignorant!). :) They replaced the leg within the hour. Great service. Taught me a lesson though. At least that happened in the driveway. What if we had been...

I found the fresh water drain. I must say, I must have been narrow minded, thinking that hose close to the hot water tank was the hot water tank drain. Right there was a little stickie - Fresh Water Drain.... :) Sometimes, we should just keep our mouths shut. LOL Thanks again.

Same here. I haven't had my 5th wheel very long at all and only had fresh water in the holding tank once. Now my sensors show it's full! I tried empting it. I don't know. Seems that the sensor can get a film on them from the water. The owners manual talks about this. I just need to take time...

Thanks for the info, guys. We did put a cold air intake on the 2500 HD and it did help a little on the mpg. Not sure it was worth the $$. :) I think we might just hold onto this one until we need to upgrade. Then I would consider a desiel.
