Thanks, great tips. Already got the valves properly labeled. And yes a leg for side patio is a must. Can't even stand on the patio and but railing together at the edge. I made a make shift redneck leg for it but I'd like a nice one to go with nice trailer. I do need to climb up and look at seems...
Love it so far, still learning it's flaws and perks. But so far so good.

Btw I super jealous of the 4250, I just found a smoking deal on this 4200 and couldn't pass it up, I had to have side patio so that's why I was deciding on 4250 till I ran across this 4200 for pennies on the dollar

I've had the exact same issue with my '15 4200. Hope this might help. I have 2 30A breakers on genset.
1. Level entire trailer first, reason why is the generator is extremely retardedly sensitive to oil level. Make sure it's at the tip top of full mark when rig is fully self leveled
2. Start...
New cyclone owner here as well! I'm in Austin, I picked up a 2015 cyclone 4200 on Father's Day for a steal of a price. Our trailers aren't to far apart maybe bounce issues/fixes back and forth.

I guess I'll bring this thread back to life, I'm 27 and work for Schlumberger. I've lived in 2 older 5th wheels that I paid cash for and always dreamed of these newer TH. Came 1 pen signing away from getting a brand new one few weeks ago till I found a 2015 cyclone 4200 HD fully loaded for 50k...
I have a 2015 odes raider with huge custom lift.. I just bought a 2015 cyclone 4200 without measuring what my new machines height is, couldn't pass up the steal of a price on this cyclone. I pick up my machine from the shop here in about 8 hours so I'll see how it fits as far as height goes. But...
Oh wow that is warm, thank you. I will go get a temp gun and see what I come up with next time I go to the trailer.she's in storage.

Ok whoops I didn't know that. Glad I said something. So leave side gen cover on. What about main door for gen/battery area?

Yea, mine seems to be backwards on switches. Wish there was a temp switch for gen. Seems like mine runs really hot. I have been leaving main door for gen open and cover off on side of genthat exposes the engine.

Oh ok. Well apartment flipped out on me. So found a rv storage spot that another guy has that's not using it for a month or two so I can use it at a cheaper rate. Can't wait to get out of the apartment. I'll post back on here in couple hours on what I figure out on switch.

Hmm ok, I'll prob get out there this evening and fire up Gen and check it out and play with it. I picked it up sat morning and camped all weekend now brought it back to my apt complex. Hope they don't complain haha. Still trying to find a good storage place near by.

Hmm ok, that's weird that it didn't trip a breaker. Also weird that it runs perfect except for every 12 hours or so it would need a "reset" best way to describe it. Anyone know what positions the switch need to be in for what combinations of ac's to be running? Its 1 switch that has 3 positions...
Also I noticed that after the generator ran for about 12 hours it needed a reset or be turned off for an hour or so, cause the ac's would just randomly turn off. But everything else would work fine. Not sure if it just got over loaded and kicked ac's off or what. But if I changed the switch that...
9 gal per hour? That's insane, I ran 2 ac's entire time, microwave for 2 minutes, dryer for about 2 hrs total (wet clothes/towels from being on the boat) and water heater was on a.c. power but only took 2 short hot showers

So 43 hrs continuous run time, I'm guessing roughly. And 2 1/2 tanks would be 45 gallons if it's an 18 gallon tank. So that's about a gallon an hour. Not sure if that's good or bad haha.

Yea I thinking that too. I'm not sure, it got down to just below 1/4 "redzone" and I put 10 gallons in it and meter showed full. But who knows probably could have taken another gallon or two. If I had to guess I think it's 15 gal tank.

Mine has 2 power kings and 4 tow Max's. Fml! It's going to be parked for a while so tires will have to wait. Will change them before any super long trips. Right now I'm camped out at the lake with the boat about an hour from the house. I'm shocked at how fast the generator burned through a tank...
Yea I'm dreading the tow max tire situation! Wish I would have known before I closed on the deal. Im gonna have to take it easy bringing her home, but I'll be sure to get a new set put on before any long trips. The tow vehicle is a 501 hp 2007 6.7 cummins. It's a 3500 dually, 4x4 with ride rite...
T-minus 12 hours till we pick up our new to us rig in San Antonio. 2015 cyclone 4200. Anyone else have this model wanna chime in on any tips or anything?

It was def the builder, because the issues weren't from towing. It was actual failures of certain components. 1st one was sucked up transmission filter and lost line pressure.

Yea didn't help that I was putting down little over 600hp to the wheels. And I got the 48re fully built. So the following 2 failures were under warranty

I don't mean to start anything here but I feel like gvwr and all the other ratings are way way below what the truck is more than capable of doing. I think it's just their CYA for them. My 2005 ram 2500 cummins towed this 42ft, triple axle, 4 slide out, 2 bedroom monster 5th wheel and a 8x12...
In my case in old trailer a pan wouldn't have mattered. Unless it drained as fast as it was pouring out. It over flowed and pushed lid open on a top load and was flowing like a fountain. I plan on leaving my setup the way it is for piece of mind. Also being in the garage seems like a better...
I just purchased a 2015 cyclone 4200, I will be picking it up Saturday morning. It has washer/dryer hookups in the closet up in master bedroom. But the person that owned this rig before me put full size washer and dryer in toyhauler(garage) where the little sink is from the factory. I haven't...
