Re: No Landmarks ????
That's right ! I remember seeing a Big Country when we dropped our 'sob' camper off for service a couple months ago; thinking then it was odd to see a Big Country in their showroom.
We have heard good things about T & S Enterprises and plan to meet with them when we get...
Re: No Landmarks ????
I got an email from our local dealer here in Texas stating they are in the process of getting Landmarks and will let us know when they get one in. I was quite surprised to hear this as they are a big forest river dealer. They normally have very good pricing, however we...
Thank you TxCowboy, it's good to hear the 3 acs will keep up with the Texas heat. We are in Texas also.
The units we are considering have 3 A/C units with heat pump option.
We are also considering waiting for the next model version to see what changes will be made. We don't want the gas...
Hi,
We have some questions regarding the roof construction and materials, as well as some general questions. Hopefully someone can assist us as the dealer we have been discussing the RV with hasn't been able to reply with an answer. I have searched Heartland's website, and the web, and can't...
Re: Landmark Louisville - Sneak Peak at Bedroom Dresser
We are excited to see the Louisville finished product! Please post more pics when available... we won't be attending Goshen, we aren't Heartland owners (yet..)
Thanks for the update
The seller must know something isn't right with the water or sewer ... I think I'd pass on that one.
If a serious buyer wanted to do a thorough PDI on our Columbus we would certainly want them to to be sure its all OK at purchase. We'd even hook the water up , no problem...
Sounds like the...
For the most part if it were me I would buy new to have the factory warranty , but if a used unit in excellent condition with the floor plan we want and must have options was available we would certainly buy used then buy an extended warranty.
We also have been considering an RV upgrade...
I think I like the new plan Andy posted! Will the dinette fold out or anything like that to make a bed? Might be something we need when grandkids come with us.
Looking forward to seeing the prototype.
We looked at the new front kitchen Columbus but I didn't like the separation of rooms so much. Now the Riverstone front living plan, wow I REALLY liked that one.... if Heartland would swap the stairs like they are in the Riverstone so that when you're in the kitchen you can see up into the...
I'm disappointed in Heartland's plan. Agree that Oregon camper's version is much better. Was really hoping for a 35 footer. The one we have is 37' so no reason to change at this point. I was really hoping for the 4 slides like the silhouette showed.
We don't care for the dinette in a couch...
Dear Heartland,
We have been wondering about the Louisville model lately as Landmark is still at the top of our wish list. Are there any updates on this model?
We have our 'some other brand' for sale but are considering taking it off the market since we plan to do some camping this summer.
A...
Thank you very much for the info on the Ft. Worth show. We will most likely go on Saturday of the show and will be sure to visit ExploreUSA's exhibit.
Merry Christmas!
Hi,
Can non-Heartland owners attend this Rally ? Looks to be pretty close to us. We have a Columbus 5th Wheel. Also do you have to sign up for all the dates or could we attend just the weekend? Sorry for all the questions, we have never attended a rally before .
Thanks!
We are also hopeful the Louisville plan happens. We will be putting our SOB 5th Wheel for sale after the Holidays and attending some RV shows in first part of the year. Hopefully there will be some new Landmarks at the Fort Worth RV show in January. Would like to see the revised interiors...
Awesome!! Please share your thoughts on the tour. Especially any insight on the landmark construction. We are holding off on upgrading our RV until later this year in hopes that the Landmark Louisville will be released.
Will be anxious to hear your perspective!
I think the 'shorty' would be a game changer too! We're quite interested in this model and looking forward to see plans and more details. Thank you for posting your update.
This would work for us! We have a SOB now, 37' with rear living with dinette next to theater seats. Almost never use the table; when we do use it its very cramped anyway. I really like the idea of an overhang on one side of the island with barstools.
We will be anxious to see what you come...
The Louisville floorplan looks very interesting to us. Looked at what specs were there and it my husband and I will definitely be looking closely at this plan once there is more info. Especially since the length shows to be 35' and 4 slides. Might be 'the one'!!
Thanks for posting the link
I agree the new changes look awesome. I too especially like the stainless sink and the stove top. I guess it's a good thing our Columbus hasn't sold yet so we will wait for the new changed models. The only thing I'm not too excited about is all the dark colors of the exterior paint. Very anxious...
Thank you for posting that info! We would definitely like to not have carpet and I didnt know you could order one like that. We will put that on our list to ask about when we go visit the dealer.
Congrats Cholo on your Newport! We have decided that is the model we would love to have. Love the...
Hi,
We are going to try to drive out for the day Saturday of the rally. In excited to learn more about the Landmarks. And will definitely visit with explore USA while there.
Thanks!
Hi,
Have a couple more questions.
Regarding the rally in Canton, can we just come for the day on Saturday? Not with our camper (it's not a heartland anyway).
Also our truck is a 2015 Chevy 3500 HD 4x4 duramax diesel long bed but not a dually. Is it enough truck to pull a Madison or Newport...
Re: No More Arlington?? Dealer Stock Only.
We have been reviewing the Arlington plan along with the Newport and really like the Arlington desk/computer area. Hope this plan is still an option when we are ready to buy.
Hi Fulltimers,
Kyle is aways away from us but we might have to take a trip down there. Thank you for posting your experiences. We will give your friend a call to set up a time once we determine when we can go. We're not in a rush since we need to sell our unit first. That is great that...
Hi fulltimers, we will be interested to know how ExploreUSA is with service also. We went to the fort Worth location to look at Landmark RVs and the experience with their sales staff was not good. Basically non-existent!! Hoping to find a better dealer to work with. We are in DFW area.
Thank you very much for that FYI! Wish they would give us what we want for our current 5th wheel. I would trade tomorrow if we could get a deal like that.
Thank you VERY much for the informative, detailed review of the Madison, Mburtsvt! Your comments are so helpful. We are thinking about looking at the Madison again that we went to see last weekend, but this time calling ahead (and asking for a different sales person) so that they can have the...
Thanks all for the comments! Bill n Sue, that is definitely something to think about! We have been looking over the floor plans tonight and are really drawn to the Newport. However I still like the Madison; just not sure about the kitchen. I think we also need to take a look at one with the...
Well we looked at the Madison on Saturday. Loved the front living area but the kitchen not so much. It seemed a little closed in with the u shaped counterspace. The dealer had said in an email to me on Friday they had a Madison and a Newport. No Newport was there to look at. Apparently he meant...
That is awesome bill n sue. I bet that extra bathroom is really handy. My hub really likes the Newport plan. It will all come down to how many grandkids can sleep over in which plan!!
