I'd like to replace the battery draining light bulbs (not the fixtures) above the stove, dinette, bed, etc on my NorthTrail. Anyone have a source domestically and reasonably priced?

We replaced our standard bed in our 31QBS with at memory foam & real coil spring mattress. It came rolled up and vacuum bagged. You open it up and it expands in about 24hrs to a normal bed. This makes it easy to get the bed in the bedroom. It is larger (longer) than the standard factory foam...

This summer we camped at Bay Bridge and Madision with a F350 and a 31QBS which is about 33-6" long. If you plan ahead and get one of the very few large sites, as we did. It was great.

On my trailer I put the inverter in the front compartment and hooked it to the batteries with 3Ga wire. From there I used an extension cord to "upstairs" in the unit to power the TV, etc. One of the other members of the Northtrailtalk.com forum one one better and added a remote...

I have the Mexico ones. The dealer I bought mine from is sold out of the Mexico ones, and all the dealers are scrambling to get them from each other. I know that Denman makes good tires, but only time will tell.

The dealer unplugged it for 15 minutes, then pluged it back in. Works fine again. THey indicated this was a commmon problem, and will likely re-occur in a year! :o Well I hope this is all that it takes to fix it.

Ours may have been one of them. Returned last week from 2 weeks in Yellowstone, Tetons, Black hills.

as pointed out disk brakes work when they get hot - they are more resistant to brake fade, where you keep pushing and there ability to work goes down. Note however that semi trailers use drum brakes but are now anti-lock. Now that my brakes are working correctly on my unit, my drum brakes...

I got 5 new Denman's made in Mexico on the trailer installed yesterday. They get really good reviews, and the outfit that I had install them are the same folks we used for over the road semi-trailer tires. These are the only ones they sell, and put them on lowboys that haul backhoes etc. They...

My dealer says he does not do tires. I still have not heard back from Duro, multiple attempts on my part... the saga continues :mad:

UPDATE: Tires cracked and need replacing in less than a year of ownership.. :mad:

I just ordered a set of Denman Epress replacement tires. They are made in Mexico according to other posts. The dealer claims never to have had to make an adjustment on one in 10 years selling them. I hope he is right. I have not heard back yet from Duro, I have sent them claim forms...

I put the Ramber brand on mine unit and in heavy rain, there is a fine mist that comes in. I'd steer clear of these.

Yup, did the same thing... Real Bed in a Box - Serta We did the same thing. Quite interesting seeing it emerging out of the vacuum bag. We have not slept on it yet, but seems mighty comfortable compared to the stock foam one.

The PID readings are available via the OBDII connector and are read only. Connecting to this should not void the warranty if you are reading the PIDS and not over writing them. There are three (or used to be) three levels of information available on the high speed OBDII LAN. Not sure what...

Looking at your current truck weight on the rear axle verses the capacity, and the potential for a 1000 tonque weight, you look to be within all your key weights. Transfering some weight with WD, it looks even better. Other folks ... thoughts Interesting that your F150 has a lower rear axle...

Oh that code.. the code for the doors is behind the radio! Not really possible to find that one on your own. The dealer will have written this down in the deal jacket (likely). However, since you have to have the check engine light cleared, the code is available on the WDS / NGS from the OBD...

PCM I think is under the hood, up near the fire wall. You should be able to see a collection of 109 wires going to it. The main power and high amp fuses are on the drivers side, under a quick release. It may be near there.. Btw: Here is a good source of info: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/

There is a yellow valve on the fuel filter / pump combo under the truck, driver's side. Get a clean ball jar and open that valve. Let it drain out, should take about 45 seconds or so. You'll get a little more if you take off the filler cap. Shut off the valve, then cycle your key on for 15...
