    Replacement Flooring

Funny you should mention the temp swings. Its -23 Celcius here today (about -10 F) so i hope it holds up. I talked to a number of people at specialized hardwood flooring shops and I was told laminate would be the only product with a chance. I originally wanted engineered floor as i thought it...

    Replacement Flooring

I didn't glue mine either and the pieces actually snap together. It is supposed to be a floating floor system, but I did follow what Ray did above and put silicone around the edges to avoid any spills getting underneath. I actually staples the ends where they meet the carpet to be extra safe...

    Replacement Flooring

Our flooring ripped in the cold weather in our year old Sundance... pretty cheap grade lino as I found when I removed it. Replaced it with some Laminate.. photos attached. I also removed the carpeting from the stairs as that never really made sense to me as our trailer was lino, then carpet on...

    Torn Lino

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm glad to hear that I don't have any structural issues. We did have an exceptionally cold winter here in Calgary and I agree with the last post about the register as the source of the issue. Since my warranty is now up (i bought it in the last week of January...

    Torn Lino

We have a 2009 Sundance 3012RE that we bought in February of last year. I was out to the trailer at the storage yard today and was surprised to see the linoleum torn from the door all the way across to the kitchen cupboards. We are in a cold climate, but i have never seen this before. Has anyone...

    Truck Recommendations

I have the exact same trailer and pull it with a 2005 GMC 1500 HD (which is the same as the 2500). I have the 6.0 L gas. The only mods i have done to the truck is a stainless steel exhaust, throttle body spacer, cold air intake and a Predator prgrammer. It has plenty of power to pull that...

    Shelving in Front Compartment

I found the laundry chute idea a waste of time in our sundance and rather installed some wire shelving to make better use of the space. See photo attached.

    Bed Slide in Cargo Hold

To be honest, you are not missing to much.... they are less than a stellar set of speakers... i had mounted a good set of exterior speakers inside the cargo hold of my last trailer and they had much better sound.

Do any other Sundance owners feel like they have a POS?

We have a 2009, 3012RE that we had a number of the same problems with, the Kitchen sink leaked, as did the hot water tank and the shower. I managed to fix them all myself by tightening the fittings. We also had problems with all the bolts coming loose in our slides which thanks to this forum...

    Roof Mount Satellite

We have a 2009 3012RE and although there is a satellite connection in the docking center I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not this unit comes pre-wired for a roof mounted Satelite Dish? Any assistance or wiring schematics would be appreciated. Thanks

    Bed Slide in Cargo Hold

I bought it from a local auto parts supplier for $800 Cdn Dollars. The unit is actually made by a company called Bed Slide (www.bedslide.com). I don't have any pictures, but next time i'm out i'll snap a couple and post them.

    Bed Slide in Cargo Hold

Not sure if anyone else is interested, but I recently purchased a bed slide that fit perfectly into the cargo hold on the front of my 2009 3012RE. With the addition of the docking center inside the driver side cargo door, access to goods behind the docking center was difficult and i found...

    Slides on 3012RE

We just purchased a 2009 3012RE and I have a question about the slides on the unit. It seems that the top of the slide closes tighter than the bottom of the slide. Is this normal? I have attached some photos to show the issue. Thanks

    Attachements

Can anyone explain to me how I go about posting pictures.... I have a question about my slides on our Sundance 3012RE, but it kinda loses its effect without the photos. Thanks

    Battery Box

I had two 6 volt batteries put in my 2009 2012RE at the dealership. They installed a big plastic box that had the batteries end to end which wasted a bunch of space. What i did is I ended up throwing up the plastic box, and putting the one battery back in the factory location and the other...
