A couple more simple but effective mods; I tied in a 1.5" duct to the duct under the converter and routed this under the bath drawers along the waterlines, this is slit to blow warm air on the lines and to blow under and along outer shower pan. I did the same under the outdoor kitchen sink and...

Pins not screws on on underbelly?

Would highly recommend to replace these before getting too far from the home shop - or you will be forced into slashing and taping to get at any issue in the belly, average set of hand tools ain't g9nna cut it. Add it to your winterize or de-winterize task list:cool:

Pins not screws on on underbelly?

True enough, it is about units per hour on those assembly lines. I will say that the CS rep was not exactly happy about the change, reflected your sentiments regarding needing belly access. Not the first time I have seen design or manufacturing engineers not consider future maintenance and...

Pins not screws on on underbelly?

Okay - as promised I spoke with customer service today. They stated that they were made aware of this practice a couple weeks back when a dealer called in with the same issue / question. Apparently they are using this method on more than one assembly line. I did ask if they had a suggested...

Pins not screws on on underbelly?

Decided I wanted to drop the belly coroplast to check for build issues, maybe add some tank bracing / insulation, etc. What I discovered is that my coroplast is attached to the outer frame rails with pins, not screws. My first clue was the black plastic centering collar, used to center a...

Not sure if the OP is still checking in... Okay, I looked at a couple options in respect to the lines interior to the conditioned space, of concern were the lines feeding the outside shower and the lines feeding the sink at the outdoor kitchen. I considered heat taping and wrapping all these...

Hank, good news is the bulk of the water lines are in the conditioned space - not underneath. I have spoken to Heartland and the are sending the plumbing plans, once I have some more info and have dropped the belly I will post

I have the same model, but a 2016. No tank heaters or heat tape on the lines, does have a heater duct routed into the underbelly but probably not enough heat for Idaho. I will be wintering just north of OKC and am considering options as well. Will be following....
