RV Park Recommendations Near/In Denver, CO

Strasburg KOA is a nice place. You will have about an hour drive to get to Red Rocks but, depending on the time of day, shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Staring at the mountains all the way makes it easier Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Looking for an RV Park near Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO

We just spent 5 nights at Bear Creek Lake RV park and I need to update some things. First, they have 1 water fill station but none at the sites. They do have 30/50 amp service and a very nice dump station. Not a tree for miles so I guess that makes it 'satellite friendly' in the current...

    Can you hear me?

I ran across a website yesterday that could be helpful called www.jollyrogertelco.com. For $6 a year, you can sign up for their site and when you get a scam call, conference them into a 'pirate' at this address. They give full explanation on how it's done and it looks interesting. I'm still...

There is a remote for that unit. Make sure something isn't leaning on the remote causing it to activate. Roger

    New Bighorn

We completed the majority of it but they're filling with fluids on Thursday when we try again. I'll walk the roof then. Otherwise, we checked it all Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    New Bighorn

Well, you know what they say about 'best laid plans'. We were experiencing 40-50 mph gusts today and, as we drove to the dealership, saw several semi trailers on their side in the median. There were warnings all along I25 about all of that unpleasantness. As a result, we chickened out and...

    New Bighorn

We were amazed that a 35 footer could feel this B-I-G! This is the perfect size and floor plan was perfect for us. We looked for the last 3 years to find this layout. When we found it, we were sold. Roger

    New Bighorn

Be safe traveling. We are picking up our 3160 on Friday but we only have a 40 mile trip. I like that better, I think. Looking forward to picking it up.

    What's your fav smoker recipe?

My favorite is smoked salmon. Portion and put it in a cure overnight. Rinse and let the surface dry under a fan for a couple hours and smoke for about 4-6 hours as low as you can over your choice of wood (my preferred wood is apple or alder). Yummmmm!

    Help! Colorado Chapter Members

No matter where you go in Colorado, it is beautiful. I highly recommend camping in the state parks. They are beautiful and usually about $20-22 a nite, BUT RESERVE EARLY. Also, National Forest areas are great for boondocking. My favorite town in Colorado is Ouray. They call it 'little...

ATF: Mallard - Solar panel connection

Just for more confirmation, I contacted Heartland to ask about solar connections. Here is their response: This is a Furrion plug system. I have attached a link for Furrion & one to Zamp Solar which offers a plug adapter to convert their products to the Furrion application prep. Zamp seems to...

Thank you so much for all the replies! You folks are the bomb! So far, here are my plans - Furrion observation camera, EEZ TPMS (any feedback on this vs other brands?), Garmin 760LMT GPS. I will put the TPMS monitor in an accessible but out of the way place to reduce clutter and mount the...
