Has anyone had their recliner and couch start feeling the covering of the furniture. We have a 2014 Heartland Gatway.

Our love seat and couch, the covering on both pieces of furniture is pealing off. I am the second owner and the furniture is only 4 years old and has not had any direct sunlight or heat. What can we do, Ashley Furniture claims no warranty because it is over one year and we are the second owner.
