    Dometic Refrigerator thermal fuse

I was on a trip recently and the refrigerator completely shut down. No light no nothing. After much seaching I found a little black reset button on what must be a thermal fuse attached to the flue. Pushing the button reset everything and it was fine for the rest of the trip. But on the way...

    Question on Equaflex

I have the equaflex on my 2008 Bighorn 3670RL. I was looking at it the other day and it has what looks like bumpers for the rubber pads welded on between the plates that the bolts go through. This is hard to explain, but those of you that have equaflex will probably know what I mean. My...

    Firestone airbags

I am wanting to order and install the firestone riderite airbags. In looking at the firestone website it lists part no. 2299 for a dodge 3500 and part 2478 for a 3500 HD cab and chassis. My truck says 3500 HD on it and is a dually but I don't know what the cab and chassis means. When I look...

Refrig modifications seem to be working

I have a Bighorn 3670 and have been reading a lot of refer information on this web site and others. Here is what I did. I had dead space at the top of the refer. I cut a sheet of galv steel stock and made a tray to put at the top of the upper coils where the fins are to cool the gases off. After...

    Interesting refrigerator problem high altitude

We just spend about 2 1/2 weeks in the Rocky Mtns at 7 to 9 thousand feet. Our refrigerator worked fine. When we came down from the mountains, the refer would not cool below 60 degrees sometimes 54 at night. It did this for two days, prompting me to make an appointment to have it looked at...

Spring break in Iowa – A Lippert Production

After reading dozens of stories about shoddy springs, it happened to me in Ankeny Iowa. The spring just fell apart. I found two leafs on the highway, they were not broken but the center bolt had fallen out and the U shaped bracket was bent open. The U bolts did not break. I have a 08 Bighorn...

Valve in Grey drain roof pipe

I have traced a grey tank smell to an area under the kitchen cupboard where there is a valve in the pipe that goes to the roof. Can anyone tell me what this is and what might be wrong with it. The valve is round with slots in it and looks like there might be a spring in there.

    Electrical Box behind couch

I was setting up the air mattress on the BH3670 and behind the couch I noticed a 4 inch square electical box on the floor and against the wall. I thought this was odd. No big deal. I was just curious if any else has this in theirs and if anyone knows what it is for.

    Lipper Warranty - pinbox movement

I am so sorry to hear of your troubles. When you noticed that your pinbox was sinking into the body was it while you were traveling. We recently took a trip from OH to SC and I noticed that it appeared the pinbox would bounce about a 1/2 inch or so into the body. Maybe I just did not notice it...

Loose fiberglass siding under bed in hitch area

i was walking under my bighorn in the bed area and brushed my head against the top. I was surprised to find some space between the plywood and the formed underside of the cap. I would have expected the fiberglass to be firmly glued to the plywood underneath it, but there is a 1/2 to 3/4 inch...
