I used the Amazon Basics Swivel Mount made for 22 -55" TVs for a 32" TV. Seems to work well, easy to install and only costs $25. I used 3/4" long screws as others have mentioned.

That is actually how they are supposed to be. They original design had a covered fixture but there was a recall that replaced the covered LEDs with the strips. At least that was the case with the 2017s so I assume it's the same with the 2016.

I put two of these in my M33 recently and they have worked well. They can easily cut to match your bunk height. I added a piece of non-skid tape to the back of the hooks to keep them from sliding and protect the wood rails which seems to be working so far.
