Gonna park the Sundance on the lot on a semi-permanent basis. Only need to take off the lot maybe 1-2 times a year for camping trips. My questions are should I just leave the trailer sitting on the tires or would a more stable/permanent option be better? Also considering the nature of Michigan...
Thanks guys! I was all set to buy the Boily, now I'm thinking I like the Ramsond more. The idea of not having to get up in the middle of the night to refuel 4 gal. vs. 2 gal and only 8lbs heavier. I own a 3000is Honda which I would recommend to anyone, unfortuntely I smashed it and don't think...
I gotta agree, we are on a trip to Mt. Rushmore and almost everyone of the campgrounds we pass has a atleast 1 Heartland product in it. When we pulled into our campground there was a 2010 Sundance 2900MK. It's our new past time to scan each campground we pass and see who can spot the Heartland...
I bought a new Sundance last Aug. and my Dad was so impressed with the unit he bought one 2 weeks ago. And to get him to spend his money is like trying to get a cat to come to you when you call them.:D
You won't find a nicer constructed 5er in the Sundance price range.
If you don't already try some BAL tire chocks they are good for taking some of the shake out of the tires.

I went with Timbrens, because of the ease of installation and not having to adjust air pressures between towing and not. But as stated I think both are good choices just gotta find what works best for you.
We are going for the 4th of July, what are some of the places that you would suggest for sightseeing? We plan to do Mt. Rushmore,Crazyhorse Monument, Devil's Tower, Sturgis and the Peter Norbeck drive thru, anything else?
Well I'm gonna try this again. Barring getting stuck by anymore stupid Hurricanes I will make it this year!
My parents just bought a Sundance 2900MK and will be coming also. I have reserved 2 spots arriving on the 28th and leaving the 30th.
maybe you should keep them in the cupboard....:D
I have made 2 16hr trips with this whinny little fellow, non stop crying.....I put him in the trailer once and he kinda got freaked out by it, and I felt bad for doing it so now he either rides with us(crying) or doesn't go. A mild seditative...
There is a Heartland dealer on I-75 around Findlay not sure of the name, but I pass it all the time in the truck. Not sure if they have Landmarks but they have Cyclones and the rest from what I can see.
If I was gonna be away I would take it inside, even though it would be useless without the remote. I wonder how difficult it would be to get a new/replacement remote.
update,I bought the VuQube and changed service from Dish to DirectTv. I haven't used it in the Sundance yet but use it often in the truck and it is awesome, from the time I throw it up on the roof I can be watching satelitte in under 5 minutes.
I am so disapointed I couldn't make it,you have no idea.Stupid Hurricane:mad:
I never got a load until 6pm on Friday out of New Orleans after being there since Sun.
well looks like I will be hanging out in Louisiana until Monday morning then have to call in to see if anything is left.....Good Luck to all those in harms way.
