I know plywood would add weight but is there a reason for the particle wood being used for flooring instead of plywood or better yet marine plywood?

I had my TT 10 months, took 3 months to get RV appointment and they would not honor warranty. My slide out in the bunkhouse works sometimes! When it does work, it sounds fine. The switch has power but where is the motor? I have had my rv 18 months and would love to return it for all the issues...
