Attach the Water Tank Support Bars!

We had the exact same problem, I posted about it in the general forum, only we lost one support. I fabed a new one & replaced all the screws & added some. I also added a piece of c channel across all the supports & bolted it to brackets I welded to the frame. A good safety & additional support.

Newbie owner of 2019 Fuel 287.

Hi, welcome first thing I would check the supports under the water tank, we have a 305 (similar) & they were falling out. The slide out was leaking, the D seal on the vertical had a gap to the top seal letting water in. I mitered the seal & siliconed, fixed. Make sure when you move the slide out...

    New to the Fuel Fam

Just make sure you test & operate everything before you sign, especially from CW, much easier than going back. The tech doing our PDI told us he gets one hour, I said who takes over when you leave because we are testing & checking everything, I have all day. He kept telling us why we couldnt do...

    Fuel 352 issues?

It really is unfortunate that we have to go through all this to get something fixed that was done incorrectly by the manufacturer. And we are really screwed if you have to deal with CW, it seems like they are all empty suits, I will never buy from them again! I just got done fabricating &...

    Quality concerns

We just picked ours up from CW, not bad they fixed 3 out of 6 lol! Thats pretty good for them, plus I didn't expect much I keep my expectations low with CW. The good part was they didn't cause any collateral damage so thats a plus, they replaced a interior wall section & all the seam tape & did...

travel with tanks full? Fuel 287

After 2 trips I noticed 1 support missing, 1 hanging down & the other was lose! Ae CW now we'll see how bad they butcher the repair & then Ill fix it right. I would suggest for everyone to keep an eye on them, they are only secured with self tappers.

    New Fuel 305

Hopefully it was just ours but check the supports for your fresh water tank. After 2 trips I noticed 1 support missing, 1 hanging down & the other was lose. They are only secured by self tapping screws? Really! At CW now, allegedly fixed we'll see.

    Quality concerns

Lets face it CW & quality do not go together! We dropped our 305 off in December for a few minor issues, I am picking it up saturday. The worst part is they probably forgot something & what they did fix wont be craftsman like. I usually just fix it myself but figured they could store for the...

    New heartland owner

I know this is old but the original link was lost. Any way I think the quality is on par with other brands, we like our 305 & its great for off road. Added 2 six volt batteries which helped a lot. I am not a big fan of the schwin tek slides but hopefully they will hold up. good luck.

    2019 Fuel 352

My wife absolutely loves the s x s, she said I could sell her quad now lol. We ride in the NE where it tends to be rocky & the s x s with power steering works great. The reason we chose the wildcat trail was so it would fit in our other camper, we have a Montana 381 & the trail fits so in a...

    Upgrades

Just starting to get organized & do some upgrades, I made a caddy for our milwaukee M12 vacum, mounted it in the cabinet behind the bowl. Just picked up two 6 volt gc batteries, can't make it overnight with the single 12 volt. I am also installing a slide out topper, I hate cleaning the slide...

    New To Forum

Hello All, My wife & I just picked up our 2018 Fuel 305 on saturday, so far so good. CW of Kingston took care of the few items prior to delivery, they just didn't do a very good job at cleaning. We have had a lot of campers including a Fleetwood Terry SUT, one of the first purpose built...

Hi All! We just picked up our 2018 Fuel 305 on Saturday from Camping World of Kingston. It has pretty much everything we were looking for & they took our trade for a great price which sealed the deal. CW is not known for cleaning & detailing but their tech who did the demo was very thorough...
