What brand did you replace your fireplace with, and was it 36” wide approximatel. We have a 2014 Bighorn 3010RE and our fireplace just died. Thanks for the help
How has your replacement Greystone fireplace worked out for you? Our fireplace is also a Greystone and died after 9 years of service. Not too bad. Would you recommend your Greystone, as we see one on Amazon?
Have any of you Bighorn 3010RE owners replaced your toilet with the Dometic 320. I Would like to know if it installed without modifications, and if you would share what you learned during the installation. I plan install a water shutoff valve to the supply line during the changeout.
Thanks for...
Did this on my 3010RE. Parallel cabled and can be run in the boxes with font door closed and locked. Removable hatched at exhaust end and at top for refueling. No overheating, can place hands on boxes and not hot
Has anyone replaced the dinette pedestal table mount on a Bighorn 3010. I am thinking of converting to the mount used on the 3375SS.
Has anyone done this or something similar.
Thanks
Hi Jwalker
I have 2 Yamaha ES2000Is inverter generators mounted on a bracket mounted by hitch receiver. The gens are in aluminum diamond plate boxes built by Rv generator box.com. that allow them to be run while in the boxes. The boxes have marine style hatches that are removed while it is...
As the current owner of a 2014 Bighorn 3010re, and the previous owner of a Holiday Rambler Alumascape, I’ve seen behind the walls of several RVs as I repaired and done modification on them. I was recently behind the dresser drawer in the bedroom and noticed where the outside speaker wiring hole...
As we just got or Bighorn, I needed a hitch installed so I can pull my swivel wheel trailer and travel with my Yamaha grizzly. Also had the brakes inspected and the bearings repacked. During inspection of suspension, cracks in the welds on the spring hangers were decovered. Very sloppy welding...
I moved mine mine on my Bighorn to the driver’s side. I did this because it’s on the same side as the front jack controls and everything you do to set up is on that side. Also didn’t want the controls in the way of anything on my sliding tray.
Hi guys,
I’m looking for ideas to keep the driver’s side storage door from swinging back and forth when I’m working at the UDC. Anyone come up with a good latch. My door open horizontally.
Thanks
I had my whole hose stolen at Pismo Coast Village one trip. I guess someone needed a hose worse than I did.
Just another solution to the plumbing here.
What size is the PEX used on all the water lines? Is it 1/2 inch? And what diameter fittings do you guys keep as spares. Haven’t had the pleasure of going behind the wall yet, so appreciate any info on what size and type of spares I should have along.
Thanks
Got my utility area organized. Mounted the Evo water filter and made some hoses to provide water to both the black tank flush, and fresh water fill. I have Y valves from main water hose inlet and another attached to the black flush inlet to provide isolation from each other. Has good access, and...
Carl,
You said the baffle was just screwed in place. Were you able to access the screws through the hatch over the top of the sheet metal baffle, or was it just easier to cut through them
I recently bought a 2014 Big Horn 3010 RE and found this wire with the pictured connector extending through a grommet in the wall by the wall safe area in closet.
What does this connect to?
Thanks
The tray is a Mor Ryde 33”x 90” tray and I did use the riser kit. The riser kit gives you 3 different height adjustments. I used the lowest setting and I can still store fishing rods under the sliding tray.
I ordered the tray from RV & Auto parts in Ramona, California, and the risers on Amazon.
Hi Kornbred,
I have a similar setup as you, a 2007 Dodge Ram Meg 3500 4x4 shorted. Did you end up buying the Anderson? If so how are the cab clearances?
what gooseneck turnover ball system do you have?
Thanks,
blazerjohn
Harbor Freight has a folding engine hoist that works very well. I remove my superglide by myself. You need to fabricate a small bracket to connect to the hitch plate that the hoist hook can connect to. You extend the arm over the closed tailgate, lift the hitch clear of its mounting, and back...
