Sorry you didn't find this out until camping. I found it out in preparation for camping.. When I first tried to empty my fresh water tank after sanitizing, I found that the tank was still 1/3 full. I posed this question to the factory and Mike Aplin suggested that I try lowering the front of the...

Black tank flush on 2010 Cyclone 3950

I have the 2009 3950 and unless they have change the 2010 the tank flush is only for the front tank. It doesn't flush the back tank. The tank flush is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Wish they had done the back tank also.

    Roof Load Limit

Yea! I'm not too far from Caney Creek, I've not camped there, it looks like a nice CG.. Roane County Park across the lake is a nice place if you have children. Has TVA created problems for it with their ash spill? I hope to get down to Fall Creek Falls in July, haven't set a date yet. Good to...

    Roof Load Limit

What is the load limit for the 3950 roof? I'm some what of a hefty fellow around 250 -260lbs. If I need to get on the roof, I'd like to be confident I don't end up crashing through... Thanks Ron

    Holding Tank Flush System

Thanks Mike for your response.. That makes sense... I do have one other question concerning the fresh water tank.. After draing the tank it still registers 1/3 full.. Would it be possible I need to raise one end a bit? I haven't taken a look at that option yet.. I would like some advise before...

    Holding Tank Flush System

I have a 2009 Cyclone 3950, I discovered this weekend that the Flush System seems to only flush the front holding tank. How do you flush the rear holding tank? What am I doing wrong?

    Mor/Ryde Systems...

The analogy of the home industry to RV industry may have some merit, however if you buy a new home with a home warranty then the builder would be obligated to provde service for what the warranty covers, if appliances are included they are covered, if not it is on you.. When the warranty expires...

    Mor/Ryde Systems...

I have made a similiar statement on another thread.. I'm a newbe to RVing and I have been amazed why it is needful for owners to contact suppliers.. Is this the normal way of business in the RV world? Maybe I have been spoiled by the auto industry, but I still think the only people that I as a...

    Jack issues

Do you think it may be possible the design engineer for Heartland needs to recalculate the torque requirements needed to drive the landing gear and size the motor appropriately.. It may be a good idea to do some in field measurements. Load the unit to its GVWR, generator and options included...

    Jack issues

HWH make landing gear for 5th wheels, they also make hydraulic leveling systems for 5vers. It would be nice if Heartland would give them consideration for their product... They do make an after-market system that can be installed... Hydraulic leveling system for the 5th wheel, good option..

    Stuck In Las Cruces

Goldenwingers, sorry to hear about your dilemma. Hope things get solved for your soon. It is good to see Heartland get involved, I wouldn't know why they wouldn't. I guess I don't fully understand why you or any of us would have to deal with Lippert or any other vendor directly. You/we bought a...

Thanks for the info.. We lived in the Tri-Cities area a number of years ago, Never new about Grand View CG.. I certainly will put that on my list of places to camp. There's some beautiful country up there, Roan Mtn is nice especially when the Rhododendron is in bloom... I believe that is in...

    New Cyclone

Steve, Did they give good size storage in the garage? The spare tire move I think may have been on the 3950 although it would seem all Cyclones would be layed out the same in that area.. I bought a 2009 Cyclone 3950 last October, so won't be upgrading for a while.. I still like when good...

    New Cyclone

I was just looking at the Heartland RV site, and I noticed a new interior option and a new exterior color scheme for the Cyclone. Looks real good, also they have added beaver tail storage. Ramp Supports?

I have been thinking about that also. One option I have thought of is purchase some 3 ton jack stands from Harbor Freight at about $20.00 a pair. And rubber pads. I haven't measured the ground clearance to see if 16-3/4" is enough height to bring the ramp level. I figurer I'll have to do some...
