Best Bank to Refi our RV Loan

Ok so Im seeing a theme here.....Local CU. Ill reach out to a couple in the area and see what rates are out there. We bought last June when rates were a little higher so with rates across the board dropping I was hoping to get a much better rate. I guess 1% lower is better but I assumed I would...

Sliding Bathroom Door Track Pulled Out of Ceiling.

I think at this point a DIY is the best option. I just need to figure out how to get the door out of the track. Once I do that I should be able to reattach the track to the ceiling. If anyone has info on how to get the door out of the track that would be awesome.

Sliding Bathroom Door Track Pulled Out of Ceiling.

Just wanted to update the thread. Ive spent hours on the phone calling all the local Heartland Dealers, other RV repair shops and even Camping World. It is absolutely shocking how difficult it is to have warranty repairs done. The local dealers (there is only 1 within 2 hours of me but they have...

Sliding Bathroom Door Track Pulled Out of Ceiling.

Thank you for the reply. I have an email chain with Heartland so I will keep you all posted. Im actually intrigued as to how they will do this repair without pulling the wall apart. This seems like a really poor design! They either need to use much better hardware or put the track on the floor...

Hey everyone, We took our trailer to Cannon Beach Oregon for the weekend. We had an absolute blast and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cool beach town to relax at for a few days. Unfortunately when we arrived I noticed that the sliding bathroom door was hanging at a...

    Full Time Winterization

One of the nice things about western Washington is the weather is pretty temperate. Lows typically stay in the 30s (mostly above freezing) with a few days of snow. That being said I dont want to wake up one morning with a frozen line because I didnt prep. We do not have an ice maker so no...

    Full Time Winterization

Hey All, So we are full timing it this winter and Im looking for tips on winterization. I have a fresh water hose that is about 150ft so I need to figure out how to insulate it. Do I need a skirt with the bottom of my RV fully enclosed? Should I wrap my black and grey water pipes? Anything else...

Update for everyone. I spoke with Heartland's customer service today and they told me that the AC unit in the bedroom kicks on when the furnace is on to help circulate the air and heat the rig up better. They told me there is no way to run the furnace with that AC unit running. Total bummer...

    Pop Out Supports

Hey everyone, Thanks for all your feedback.....Whoa I didnt realize this topic was a hot button! To me it seems logical to use the supports if you are staying in your RV for an extending period. Short periods are fine Im sure. I dont understand the argument that the slide could be damaged if a...

    Another Newbie Question

Hi All, So we are full timing it while we remodel our home. Our RV is parked on a concrete slab in the back yard which is not perfectly level. I can not get my RV level. Through some reading I think the dealer did not set the auto level system to a true level before delivery and because of that...

This is the thermostat in the livingroom/kitchen. As you see I have it set to furnace but the furnace will not actually turn on until I turn the thermostat in the bedroom to furnace which then turns the front HP on. I dont want to have to run both, especially at night when we are trying to sleep.

Quick update, I tried your suggestion and it did not work the only thing that happens when you push both up and down arrows at the same time is it changes the setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Im going to put a call into Heartland directly to see if I can get an answer. Ill let you all know...

    rear ramp

I do not and dont think we would need it with the spring tension from the hinges. I do have one question for the group about the rear ramp, ours doesn't seal in the top right corner, is there an adjustment that we can make to the hinges or the closing mechanism to ensure a tighter seal...

I will try that. If I remember correctly I only see 3 options on the display. Fan, A/C and Heat. Ill look tonight when I get home and see if the control in the living room has different options.

Thanks, Ill look into the floor registers. Our furnace is in the living room area so the middle of the rig stays pretty warm, the only area that suffers is the garage. Ill use a space heater in there. Mike - - - Updated - - - Glad to hear your rig stayed warm in those harsh conditions...

Hi danemayer, Thanks for your response and welcome to the forum. In my trailer we have 3 separate heatpumps/ac units. 1 in the master bedroom, 1 in the living area and 1 in the garage/second bedroom. The furnace is in the living room area which is nice because most of the hot air gets put out...
