We had Heartland convert from king to queen on our 2011 GC. Love it. Gives more room between bed and closet, and gained a small cabinet between bed and side of slide on the closet side of bed.

I have a 2011 GC with ALUMINUM rims how can I tell if the have ALUMINUM or STAINLESS STEEL VALVE STEMS ? it is easy to tell the differenc between Brass but not ALUMINUM or STAINLESS STEEL. I want to get a TPMS but need to order the correct Transmitters.

I do have water in the door, but have no idea of where the water chiller is located? Any one know if there is a water shut off to the refridgeator on the 2011 GC and where it is located?

Can you use a compressor to blow the water out of the ice maker while turning the motor gear? If I blow out the rest of the plumming also do I still need to use the pink stuff other then for the drains?

On my old camper I had a manual awning, and used tie downs for windy days. Is it safe to use tie downs on an electric powered awning? Is anyone doing this?

We disliked that humongous desk also, so when we ordered our 2011 GC, we had the factory change it. We moved the fireplace underneath the tv, and made the desk go straight across. Still gives plenty of desk space, and give us more room in the LR! Plus, now it isn't hot sitting in the recliner...

Something else to do in the Black Hills in Custer State Park they have a summer stock theater that is a lot of fun if you like that kind of thing.

Rafter J is a great RV Park big sites, and will taken care of. Make sure to do the neddles drive. Don't take the 5er on the driive.

A buddy of mine did that with his 5er, and did some dammage just towing it about 50 miles on I70.

Re: Roof top satellite antrnna Thank for all of the imput! I think I am going to give the ladder mount a try. It give me the advanatage of a roof mount with out any new holes in the roof, and a carry out with the quick disconnect for the antenna if I need a carry out.

Like others have said you can get by with a 3/4 tom. How ever with a 1 ton DRW you will have a lot mot stablity, and you ever have a blow out on the rear of the truck you will be thankful you had DRW. I am not got to say one brand is better then others. O would say what ever you buy look for...
