Brad, we are very satisfied with our 3950. I've had a couple other toy haulers before this one and as far as I'm concerned this one is the top of the line 5th wheel. You'll love it! I had a couple minor issues ( a couple switches ) and Heartland sent me the fix pronto. No complaints here. Roger

Thanks for the info Jim. I've always felt safe amongst other campers in a campground, but then you just 'never know'. I'm guessing that those in a motorhome are in a different situation.

Just a quick question on having a loaded weapon in a 5th wheel. How legal is that? I have a concealed weapons permit but a lot of states do not honor another states permit. I've noticed a lot of retired policemen on this site, perhaps they know off hand. Thanks Roger

Rigmover, I was thinking of adding a second battery in mine because one just doesn't cut it. Did you add a second battery carrier, replace the original with a two battery carrier, or just tarp strap it tight to the first one? Also did you replace the cable or just add on another to tie them...

I have the same problem in my 3950, there are 2 of them in the kitchen area. I haven't dealt with them yet but will have to very soon as they have almost worked their way threw the floor covering. Kinda hard on bare feet.

I have the 09 3950 cyclone and cannot figure out the speakers either. They made it with so high tec that it's worthless. Not many 16 year kids can afford these campers and us old timers can't figure them out. I did have some younger kids looking at it and it left them scratching their heads too...

The Heartland dealer where I bought my camper installed the gooseneck adapter. So they must not have a problem with them. The brand of adapter is CE, Colibert Enterprises. There are no welds involved with this hitch.
