    Is cy4200 a New Model ??

Is this a new model that is still under wraps or a design your own cyclone? Heartland web site just shows a blacked out picture.

Ice Maker Poll - give Heartland your feedback

If we had the large fridge we would certainly have the ice maker. For now we have a portable. Happy Hour without ice is just not so happy! LOL

    All new 4100 "THE KING"

Thanks for the quick reply Coley. We will give the 3800 another look now. Our local Heartland dealer is new and I don't think they are quite up to speed as to all the different options available.

    All new 4100 "THE KING"

Went to trade off my 3950 for a 4100. Loved the unit except for the TV and sterio system. Why is the tv solid mounted, you can't access anything on the back of the tv. Radio system in the garage? No place for satelite receiver by the tv. We walked away from it. Maybe next year. If the 3800 had...

I'm pulling with a 1998 9200 International Semi. Set the cruise and let er buck. Hard on the wallet putting fuel in though.

Having problems with large slide on 2009 3950 Cyclone toy hauler, need help and advice.

I have the exact same problem on my 2009 3950 cyclone. After the trim was already banged up from bringing it home from the dealer when it was new, I now put a dish towel on the counter to let it bang up against. Looks like it wouldn't seal up tight if not brought completely in. The cure would be...

How long can I run things without the generator?

It only took me one time , while boondocking, to disconnect the tow vehicles electrics from the camper while parked. It sucks to wake up in the morning to find no power in the camper and pickup. No way to get the in house generator started to charge everything up. Rehooking to the pickup will...

    North Dakota in December. Brrrr.....

HDD, ya it's getting a bit nippy up here. Had to break out the long johns the other day! You must be working the oil fields and if so that's gotta be cold.

    Check out my rear end

Debbie, love the looks of that truck. The graphics must have come from Heartland. I would like to do something simular on my semi. Are they very pricey? Roger

Comments / Feedback on Cyclone 3950

Brad, we are very satisfied with our 3950. I've had a couple other toy haulers before this one and as far as I'm concerned this one is the top of the line 5th wheel. You'll love it! I had a couple minor issues ( a couple switches ) and Heartland sent me the fix pronto. No complaints here. Roger

    door security

Thanks for the info Jim. I've always felt safe amongst other campers in a campground, but then you just 'never know'. I'm guessing that those in a motorhome are in a different situation.

    door security

Just a quick question on having a loaded weapon in a 5th wheel. How legal is that? I have a concealed weapons permit but a lot of states do not honor another states permit. I've noticed a lot of retired policemen on this site, perhaps they know off hand. Thanks Roger

    Under Step Storage

WOW! Great job. If my carpet starts to go I may attempt that project. I don't have a bighorn and was wondering what are those switches for on the bottom step? Roger

    Batteries

Rigmover, I was thinking of adding a second battery in mine because one just doesn't cut it. Did you add a second battery carrier, replace the original with a two battery carrier, or just tarp strap it tight to the first one? Also did you replace the cable or just add on another to tie them...

    Lino in the kitchen floor

I have the same problem in my 3950, there are 2 of them in the kitchen area. I haven't dealt with them yet but will have to very soon as they have almost worked their way threw the floor covering. Kinda hard on bare feet.

    Buying a 2010 Cyclone 3950

Kevin, I also have a 2009 3950. So far we love it. Have had a few issues such as having to reglue a couple pieces of trim back on and the normal odds and ends, but otherwise no major issues. The extra bathroom works great for anyone staying in the back. We haul a couple full size Harleys in the...

    outside speakers

I have the 09 3950 cyclone and cannot figure out the speakers either. They made it with so high tec that it's worthless. Not many 16 year kids can afford these campers and us old timers can't figure them out. I did have some younger kids looking at it and it left them scratching their heads too...

    Removing decal from Cyclone

I was wondering if anyone has a surefire way of removing the decal from the front cap of my 2009 3950 Cyclone. It's the one that advertises their patent pending 88 degree turning radius. I want to get it off without taking the finish off with it. Did all the 5th wheels from 2009 get blessed with...

    New Cyclone 3950 Owner

Dan, congrats on the new toy hauler! I'm sure you'll like it as much as I like mine. If you happen to figure out how to run that sterio let me know. I've tried many times and have little luck. Maybe my 8 year old grandson can help me. Roger

    Wal-Mart Overnighter

Thank you to everyone for the info. Just for your information when your up in my neck of the woods ( ND and Min.) Cabelas ,a very large hunting store has a place just for campers. No hookups, but very spacious. I stayed at the one by Owatonna Mn when I picked up my camper. There is also one in...

    Wal-Mart Overnighter

Just a quick question on Wal-Marts policy on letting campers use their back lots for overnighters. I had to use one last year for lack of anyother place to park (4 of July weekend) and I did call ahead to make sure. Can one just pull in or is it best to call in advance? Thanks, Roger

    Help!

Congrats on the new rig! I have the same toy hauler that you have and I pull with a gooseneck. There are people on this site that will tell you it's totally wrong but it works great with 0 problems. Go with the shortest gooseneck hitch and drop down the hitch bracket on the camper to level the...

    Pulling with a semi

I will change from the gooseneck to the air ride hitch. The semi's I use do double duty pulling grain trailers ( their primary job as I'm a farmer ). I'm going to retire at end of this season so will be able to remove the large hitch that is on them with the smaller camper hitch. Our trips are...

    Pulling with a semi

Hi Dave, thanks for checking this out for me. This is the third big toy hauler I've pulled many miles using the gooseneck set up and ( knock on wood ) no problem at all. I hope my luck holds. Thanks again, Roger

    Pulling with a semi

The Heartland dealer where I bought my camper installed the gooseneck adapter. So they must not have a problem with them. The brand of adapter is CE, Colibert Enterprises. There are no welds involved with this hitch.

    Pulling with a semi

Thanks for all the kind words. I have a 1998 International 9200 semi truck with the pro sleeper hooked on the camper. As soon as the weather straightens out up here ( been fighting a flood for 2 months ), we are going to throw the Harley in the back and hit the road.

    Pulling with a semi

Greetings from North Dakota! I'm an old time camper but new to Heartland and this forum. I've found this forum very helpful in solving several issues I've had with my new Heartland. I have a 2009 3950 cyclone that I pull with a semi. Put on a gooseneck adapter rated at 30,000 lbs. Just wandering...
