    Anti-lock brakes

Last weekend we parked next to a Bighorn and the owner had a nice Ford PU dually to pull it with. He was telling me that Ford installed the trailer brake controller and that it worked in conjunction with the trailer. So far so good. But, then he tells me that the anti-lock brakes on the Pick-up...

Bighorn flooring- Structurwood = OSB board

Checked out Weyerhauser's website on "Structurwood" and it is a OSB board. OSB board doesn't seem to be regarded highly by RV users. Read: http://www.campingworld.com/forums/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/17022250.cfm I'm a little concerned about this. Any comments?? Thanks, Bill B...

    Gel Coat Front/back ??

On the Bighorn, is there a Gel Coat on the front & back caps as standard or must we order a Gel Coat Option? I don't understand the brochure statement, "High Gloss Gel Coat Exterior Glass". I wouldn't think you would put Gel Coat actually over the glass.. :o) Many thanks, Bill B. (Michigan)

    Main A.C. Remote?

On the new Bighorn Brochure (dated 1/06) it still says the main A.C. Unit come with a remote. I thought due to problems with the remotes that Hearland was discontinuing them? Happy trails, Bill B. (Michigan)

    Hydraulic vs electric motor slides??

We noticed in the Bighorn literature that the slides are operated by hydraulics. Is this any more reliable than standard electric motor (rack & pinion) mechanisms????? Also does each slide have its own operating switch? Many thanks, Bill B. (Michigan)
