I am going hunting and only need to keep a charge on the batteries, just a short term backup. There are 2 - 12v deep cycle batteries in parallel. This is a cheap set up, but I have tested it on my boat battery, just wondering if I can connect directly

Can I connect directly to these for charging?

I have a portable unit, with a 2 battery setup. Can i charge them directly in the single lugs on the battery cover?

Can the solar charger be connected to the top of the battery box lugs?

Checked breakers, nothing tripped. Must be transfer switch. I know the battery off (disconnect) is to preserve the battery when not camping, should it be on or off when on shore power?

While on shore power i have to turn on the inverter to power the residental refrigerator....is this the way it should work?
