The trailer manufacturer's should not be putting this junk on thier trailers be it Heartland or any other manufacturer. People could be hurt, raise the price if they have to and put decent tires on these units!

I have bought a few units from Pete's RV Sales in Burlington VT. He now has Heartland products and his service is excellent and prices are fair. I would not hesitate to recommend these people.

Codycarver hit the nail on the head I think. The trailer wheels are positioned differently on different trailers and this makes a big difference on how the trailer turns and the swing of the back end.

I think the Air Ride Hitches are worth every penny. This is our first fifth wheel with one and I love it. Sure does make a much nicer ride.

Another thing about dealers arrangeing financeing. They very often tack on a percentage for themselves and get a piece of the interest for themselves.

It's possible that if the factory controller was never used, you may need to add the large trailer brake fuse. I have the same truck and mine did not come with the fuse installed when it was new.
