I took it off and left it at home. I drove thru a downtown KC construction site once last year and guarantee that ladder would of got bent up if it would of been on.

I like my camper, but the fresh water setup is a major pain in the neck. Still can't believe they can't engineer themselves out of this problem.

I have a bedliner. Not sure why they want it so tight with the companion vs the gooseneck ball. Like I said, I didn't even get the u-bolts with my unit. I had to make my own.

I swap out the gooseneck ball with the companion hitch after every use, so silly me I just pull it out. I also didn't get any of the hardware with the companion hitch, maybe it is time to call them and get the real hardware.

I must be missing something, why do you loosen the nuts on the u-bolts when you remove the base from the truck?

There is a big difference between driving down the road on one axle and setting still on one axle. I have done this for 25 years with many many trucks/trailers and have not had a problem.

If you want to take a couple off at a time, just run one tire on each side up on a block of wood, that will leave the other tire on that side free to take off. No jacking needed.

I was hoping to be able to sneak away and attend this event at the last minute, but harvest is way behind so I guess I better stay home and pick corn. Have a good time and keep warm.

Agree on this. After doing this on one trip I decided never again. So I rigged up a 30 gal tank with an electric pump on it. Works great. I have gone a week with 4 people on the black and grey tanks and they handled it. Don't think it would for 14 days though.

That is a cool setup. I bought a 30 gallon sprayer that goes on an ATV and took the sprayer handle off of it and put an end on it that a garden hose would screw onto.

crazy... not sure why they can't re-engineer this I have had my unit in the shop twice now for water problems. A water system from the factory that you can't fill all the way or empty all the way is nuts.

Good info. There really is no substitution for knowing what you are talking about. I have heard this issue debated many many times and have never really known for sure who was right. It sure made sense that the heavier tire was a better tire, but had no way to prove it.

NO!!! Do yourself a favor and take that mattress out of the sofa when when you fold it back up, otherwise you will most likely spring a leak.

Our valve would not empty the tanks. We moved the valve closer to the tanks so that they didn't have to go up and around half the trailer and it does a much better job now. There is no reason a person should have to do this.:(

I used my electric awning exactly one time. Didn't work the second time. Had to put a new motor on it. I have now used the new one one time, so I hope it works the next time out. If I had a do-over, I would not of opted for the electric awning.

We were at a state park this past weekend and our rig was the best looking one in the park. I am sooooo glad I went with the FT package. I see that you are towing with the gooseneck. I would highly recommend getting the B&W companion hitch.

I will have to echo the disappointment. Taking my 3912 to the dealer tomorrow to have a slug of things fixed. Very disappointing.:(

I have yet to really figure out the water or the sewer on my rig. They do not act like any other trailer I have ever had. They both seem to air lock at times.

We ran into a dud this past weekend. He had no business working with people.

Church group went to finger lakes state park near Columbia, Missouri. It is an old strip coal mine that they have turned into ATV trails. There was 30 of us that went, with 16 ATV's. The cyclone did it's duty.
