    Mattress/bed upgrade?

We have an M-18 and have been sleeping on the orginal mattress with a memory foam pad and thick mattress pad but are looking to upgrade further. What have you guys done? Should we just buy a Queen size memory foam mattress or a spring mattress?

    Loud Brakes...

My brakes have always been loud since purchase last summer but now they seem to be louder and have started to squeak each time I apply them. I asked the dealer about the noise at purchase time and they said it was like the old bicycle brakes that made the rubbing sound some times. Is this...

    M18 Bathroom and bunk suggestions

Been in some fairly hot weather last summer (95 degrees plus) and never had a problem with it not keeping up...same complaints about the bed and shower that you guys have though. I just don't try to use the shower...usually stay in parks with showers or just "wash-up" in the shower.

    7' ceiling height?

I'm 6'3" and most of the trailers I looked at required me to "duck" under the A/C unit...the head room in the Edge was a huge selling point for me.

    Sink Cover

It would be great to have a catalog with "Edge specific" accessories...maybe when they get more popular and more items are available.

    M18 Edge Trailer

That's strange since there is settings on it for heat...If you really want it maybe you should contact the manufacturer yourself eh? I guess I'm not as trusting as some.

    Winterizing tips?

I think we are done camping this year. I've never owned a trailer before, so I'm looking for tips to winterize. I plan on parking my M-18 in a carport all winter but I'm not sure if I should "blow-out" all the fluids or use antifreeze. I was also planning on getting a moisture reducer of...

    My new M-18

Those look nice but you might have a problem with the handle for the vent, it hangs down a little bit.

    Water Pump/City water Inlet

Mine did it from the factory too, they discovered it when before they released it to me though and installed a new brass one--haven't had any problems since. The mechanic said the one from factory was a "cheap plastic one".

    My new M-18

I've looked into mounting it and so far haven't because of exactly what you have pointed out. Right now, I just take it down for travel-hasn't been a problem, but I may end up finding a way to mount it to the back wall or to a reinforced plate.

    Water Heater Bypass

I don't really see the need for finding bypass...can you explain it to me? I'm new to RV'ing and haven't heard of this yet...

    Trailer Storage

Family member in town? I luckily have a large driveway to store in the on season and in the off season I can store it at my fathers with a carport over it. 55$/month sounds high...

    M22 floorplan

That's why we went with the M-18 over the M-21...the bunks are so small that our kids wouldn't fit for long then it would be wasted space. We did like the dinette but wasn't worth the extra weight. I do wish we could have found the floor plan with the bigger shower though.

    M18 Edge Trailer

No but you can add one pretty easy I hear...I don't know why you would need it though. The furnace puts out a ton of heat and the A/C only works when you are hooked up to power, where the furnace will work off the battery and propane.

Connecting to the outside propane outlet

Same problem I'm having...I was able to attach it to my Coleman but it is double regulated...not enough flow to cook with. Why make such a useful function but no way to use it?

    My new M-18

Got the door holder at the local dealer...I tried the stainless steal one first but it didn't look right so I took it back before installing. It's a 4 inch white plastic one...probably found on Ebay really cheap...looks stock on the trailer. Next couple easy mods are going to be vent...

    My new M-18

I wish the bathroom was a little bigger. The bed really was comfortable after a memory foam pad and a nice mattress pad but unsleepable before. Top of fridge gets hot...don't store your Smores chocolate up there...lol. If you do any dry camping, you really need to add another battery...

Running down the road with the propane on.

FYI when you search with that title there is 20 pages of results...When I quote a thread I usually use a link...also, you may not be aware but, message board etiquette states that CAPS is YELLING, and can be construde as RUDE!...:D

    Sink Cover

We bought a white plastic cutting board which just happened to fit the small side of the sink perfectly...works great! I also think we could use more counter space, how about a flip up counter?

    Edge M22 Door Hook

Installed my own door latch the other day because my M-18 didn't come with one...I put a little glue Gorilla Glue on it then some silicon on the screws...seems to hold real well so far.

    Edge m-18 Tow Vehicle

    It's a 2007 4.7 V8 4x4 Limited with a 5 speed tranny... I guess in 2005 even the V6 got a 5 speed tranny so I might have been fine with just a newer V6, but I enjoy the power in the V8.

    newbie with Edge

It actually is that long...we just used a queen size which is smaller than the mattress but it really doesn't matter. It is a little tough to get the queen size sheets to fit :-)

    newbie with Edge

We had the same issue with the "city water" connector but the service guy found it before they released the trailer to us (he replaced it with a brass version). With a memory foam topper and a thick mattress pad we now have a quite comfortable bed. Couple minor things I'm going to do is...

Hitch receiver on the back of an M-18 for a bike rack?

I'd like to have a hitch receiver on the back of my M-18 so I can use my hitch mounted bike rack...has anybody looked into this? I'm not sure if it will work at all because there isn't much clearance to the ground. I've heard of people making a rack that mounts above the propane tanks but I...

    Shower in M-22

There is a on/off switch on the head itself, so you just turn it to the temp you want in the sink, hit the switch to go to the shower then control it with the shower head switch. The water part is not the difficult part for me it's the fact that I can't even turn around :-)

Is there a longer stabilizer jack handle available?

So here's my question to the factory...are you aware that the handle for the stabilizer jacks in the M-18 are not long enough? On the two front sides it bangs into the fiberglass and on the back side with the license plate it just plain doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. I really...

    Edge m-18 Tow Vehicle

We trading in our V6 4Runner for a V8 after our first trip with our M-18...the transmission was the problem not the engine...we were shifting frequently and I felt like we would eventually burn up the tranny.

    Problem with Jack Crank Handle

This is a pretty silly issue for the factory to create...I don't weld so do you think I could buy one longer? I have also used a cordless drill that my buddy swears by...it worked fine but I don't really want to worry about keeping it charged.

    Edge- New owner: countertop care...etc.

One thing about the counters is they do scratch very easily so be careful with dishes etc...so far we have only used the table a few times and have always placed the carved out area toward the couch...doesn't seem to serve much function but doesn't hurt anything and looks cool. I haven't placed...

    M18 - upper bunk issue

I agree that the factory latches are not adequate...we have had to keep the bunk down during towing because otherwise it crashes down because the factory latches do not lock...poor design. We do not use the bunk frequently--usually the kids are in a tent but have used it for our 9 yr old...

    My new M-18

Yes, only time we feel like it's a little small is when we cook but usually I'm outside with the BBQ so it isn't too much of a problem...I have not used the shower which I think would be nearly impossible but we have stayed in parks with showers so far...

    front stabilizer jacks

The M18 has them but the handle they provide bangs into the fiberglass...lol...why would they do that? I'm going to buy a longer one or just keep using my cordless drill...
