Took out the anoderod to drain the water heater yesterday for mild winter storage. Las Vegas doesn't get that cold in the winter. My question is when should these anode rods be replaced. I noticed some corrsion but not sure what is too much corosion? Thanks, Mo

Gary, We have the same problem in our RLS. We use a couple of tension rods to hold the door in place. Seems to work so far.
