    roof trusses on a 2007

JPMORGAN, I did read that post before that they changed to wood in mid-production of 2007 models. We ordered ours in March 2006 and full aluminum structure was one of, if not, the most important things we were looking for. You would think they would disclose that to a customer who is...

    rear door on 3200RBH...wrong one?

JJAK17, I did get some replies finally from the factory,They said this is the only door they use and they finish it off with some vniyl trim. They said other manufacturers do the same thing. We've been to several rv shows this year and I didn't see any other unit that used a door frame that was...

    wood floor joists?

I just noticed the 2008's have wood floor joists. Why did they go to that.I'm pretty sure 2007 was aluminum from roof to floor. We have a 3200bhs and I think it has aluminum floor joists.

I just checked out the Heartland site at the 2008 Sundances. In the construction section it shows them as having wood floor joists. We have a 2007 3200BHS and I was pretty sure our floor joists were aluminum. Why did they go to wood in the floor for 2008?

    rear door on 3200BHS

Scott, If I talk to my dealer and have him contact the factory, would the factory be able to drop ship this trim to my house for me to install? My dealer is 1 and 1/2 hours away and I've already towed it back there three times for other repairs. I would really rather not have to tow it back...

    rear door on 3200BHS

Jim, Thank you for trying to understand my concern and please realize, I am not trying to get “ugly” about it, just trying to solve what I feel is a problem. I do have digital images of the doorframe, which I have sent to the factory customer service. I will do my best to post them here, however...

    rear door on 3200BHS

Scott, Thanks for getting back to me. When we originally ordered this unit, we had seen an 2006 model which didn't have that door.after we ordered it we were told we would be getting the 07 model. If I had seen this "problem' originally I probably would have asked some questions. What are some of...

    rear door on 3200BHS

Scott, I looked at several different brands of campers today, all of which had the rear cargo door like mine. They were Jayco,Starcraft,Prowler and Terry. Every one had 2” thick walls and every one of the door frames came flush with the inside wall and were finished off very nicely without...

    rear door on 3200BHS

Are you serious? We just spent $27000 on a camper which ,according to the website, is of such great quality, and now I'm supposed to cover up poor workmanship with a cheap piece of vynil trim.Even if it hides the bare aluminum,it won't close up the 1/2" gap between the door frame and the wall...

    rear door on 3200BHS

I hope someone here can help me. We took delivery in May on a 3200 BHS.There were alot of issues we had with it one of which was the outside access door by the rear fold up bunk had a narrower door frame than the camper walls which left the aluminum framing of the camper visible from in the...

I have been in contact with Heartland, and sent them pictures of the door frame, then they wanted me to send pictures of the outside. That was almost two weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything. I'm sure not getting the same good feeling about the quality and customer service on these units...

    What Does That Switch Operate

I have to agree with you RickNB.We have a 2007 3200RBH, and I can't believe the poor workmanship in this thing. We thought we were getting a quality unit from the way it is written up on there web site, but I truly beleive this is nothing more than an entrylevel unit with some frills to make it...

    rear door on 3200RBH...wrong one?

Does anyone else have this problem? The rear exterior door at the bunk beds seems to be the wrong one. The door frame is only half as thick as the camper walls .Therefor you can see the aluminum framing of the camper.I looked at other brands with this door and their door frame comes flush with...

    Chevy 2500LD/ Sundance Question

I e-mailed Heartland about their weights compared to other manufacturers before we ordered our sundance and the engineer that wrote back told me they came up with these weights while the units were still on the drawing boards and they figured high so someone wouldn't order one and then not be...
