I just got tired of fighting with my dealer and the trouble of taking the trailer in to get the thing changed. The tiny motor would not drive the reel with the heavy cord. I asked if a lighter cord was available. The whole design was not well thought out. The motor looks like something that...
Still no replacement reel. I really looked forward to having
a working reel. Hopefully if I ever get the replacement I
can enjoy mine as so many of you have been able to.
The guy next door to me has just had the devils own time trying to get his large living room slide
in. It has occurred to me that should the need arise I would be in trouble as I do not know where
to crank.
I have a 2011 3670.
I wondered about rescue tape looksd like it would do the job. I also looked
at tennis raquet wraps, the just did not look long enough.
Thanks for some good ideas.
Thanks for some good ideas. Over the door will not work as I have sliding pocket doors.
Under the cabinet over the throne looks good. Some of the hangers over the shower door
look really OK, I have never seen anything like them before.
I reecieved a PDF from Heartland today of the production order
showing that I have the King of the mountain Package, and what
options and changes were added.
Great service.
The dealer made good on some of the outstanding items.
A couple of things had to be ordered from Heartland as they
could not be fixed. I will have to take the trailer back in when
these things come.
I was getting anxious as we will be full timers as of July 15, and
wanted to shake the trailer...
It was raining today so a good time to check for weather tightness. Cables and waterlines all looked good, no leaks. Things behind the walls and under the slides looked good.
Concerning the furniture, there was another couple taking delivery of a Bighorn, on looking into their trailer I am quite sure the furniture that belonged in our trailer had migrated to theirs. Not a big deal as what they put in our trailer is very much the same only lighter in color.
I do not...
PDI was a disaster, side of the trailer had been dinged, hot water cover was scratched and rusted, numerous areas inside the trailer had gouges in the wood. I looked as though some marks had been covered up but by the wrong color of putty. The rear day/night curtain was torn in three places...
I am hoping I get a good PDI. What are some things I should look for?
I already caught them switching furniture from a different trailer. I will be
looking at everything very carefully.
Thanks everyone, We will be travelling about 5 months at a time so will need to take a few things.
Heavy duty storage bins seem to be the best bet. I have considered what I call an autopsy table
but they weigh a lot.
What about bicycles? Front bin large enough?
Once I get the trailer I will be...
A new 2011 3670 and I take delivery in early June. A question,
how do you make optimum use of all of that storage space. My
last 5th wheel had only a fraction of what looks like an empty dance
hall in the 3670.
After traveling from Yuma to 29 Palms, and particularly along the east side of the Salton Sea
this past Febuary, I know that the stuff a the rear of my 37 foot 5th certainly moved. If the ride
is as good as you say in a Cyclone I am indeed making the right decision.
I am buying a 3950. One of the first things I will have to do is put in a two station
computer work space in the garage. Has anyone done something like this? I am
concerned about up and down movement at the rear of the trailer.
