Is It Me or the Frame?

When I park on a spot I get out my handy four foot level and place it on the floor inside the door (side to side of course) in front of the refrigerator and steps in our 32RL. I then either raise up one side or the other (pulling onto wood blocks) to get the unit level side to side. After...

    Stove/Oven

After many setups and time spent leveling have come to find out that it is the stove that is out of level, not the trailer. I've had levels on the floor, counter and stove itself (several different levels) and the stove is our of kilter/ Wondering just how the stove is installed and what I...

    ATF: Greystone - Knife Rack

Wondering how the 'knife rack' storage is attached to the counter top. We want to install a stove top but the rack interferes. We have a Magic Chef stove and it is not one built to use the disappearing top therefore we must use a universal stove top. If we could remove the rack we could...

    Raising Sewer Discharge Plumbing

Wondering if there is some reason the discharge plumbing on my Greystone 32RL are so low. We do a lot of dry camping and have yet to find a 'blue-boy' low enough for the sewage to drain directly into. The discharge pipe is slightly over a foot off the ground. Would it be possible to shorten...

    Waste Water Drain/Plumbing Location

Wondering if there is an engineering reason for the location of the sewer drain on the 32RL. They seem to be very low - in fact too low to effectively drain into any type of portable tank (blue boy/tote/etc.). Could the plumbing be raised to a point closer to the under belly cover? Thanks

    DOP and DOM

Completing a warranty form and it is asking for the "DOM and DOP" of the unit. How do I find out what these mean and then how do you find out what they are? I gather the DOM is the Date Of Manufacture but not sure about the DOP. Thanks to whomever can answer.

    Seat Tech Sofa Bed

Wondering if anyone has tried the Seat Tech Sofa Bed now being used in some units in place of the one made by Flair. We have the the Seat Tech (another Lippert company) in our Greystone and it is uncomfortable as heck! There seems to be little support for the air mattress over the drawer and...

What a Place for a closet light!

Don't know who thought of the location for the closet light in the bedroom, but obviously it was before the doors were installed. The switch is on the off door side inside the closet so if you want the light on, you need to open the off door side slider then turn on the light. Wondering how...

    Step Storage

I noticed on the some Bighorn models there are drawers or openings under the steps to the bedroom. I had added something similar to our old fifth wheel. Wondering how the steps in the Greystone are made and whether or not it would be feasible to add some storage under the steps. It's a great...

    Another Newbie

New to Heartland but not RVing. Moving from our 2004 Cougar (290EFS) to a Greystone (32RL). We are picking up the new one on Thursday. Have half of half the garage floor covered with stuff from the Cougar, but we will not be putting all of it in the Gresystone - now is the time to sort and...
