Bob&Patty, Did you read the first line of the original post? I'm not talking about the fact that his wife may have accidentally ordered the wrong size shirt,I'm talking about the fact that when she contacted them, she got the run around and Heartland told her they would have it and give her a...
I'm with gpshemi on this as far as heartlands customer service goes. Good luck getting them to call you back. I been trying to get some flooring issues resolved for months. I've heard good things about Heartlands customer service, but that hasn't been the case for me. I talked to Steve Kennel in...
A tarp works great. Just lay the tarp down, put your muddy stuff on the tarp. When you get home, unload your stuff, pull the tarp out and wash the tarp instead of the trailer. I do wash the ramp from time to time though.
Thought I would give ya"ll an update. Due to our 3 year old getting sick on friday our weekend started a day late so we had plenty of fuel. We ran the generator non stop from the time we left home to the time we got back, running everything as if we were hooked to a 50 amp service, including...
Thanks for all the replies. The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so maybe we won't have to run the generator 24/7. I think I'll carry extra fuel and funnel JIC. Kinda makes me wish I had got the extra fuel tank.
I have a cyclone 3812 with an Onan 5500. We will be boon docking for the first time this weekend and wondering if we could run all weekend on a tank of gas. Thanks for the help.

I was wondering if anyone takes their rig to a truck wash, such as the Blue Beacon to have it cleaned. I've taken my cyclone there before and they really did a pretty good job.
My concern is, with a truck wash place being more of a chemical cleaning than a hand wash, will the chemicals they use...
Yes the ramp is pretty slick when its wet. It seems like most of the time when we get ready to load up, the mud is already dry, so it's just a matter of sweeping off the dry dirt instead of having to spray it off with a water hose.

Hey nice rig. Speaking of getting your garage muddy, here's something we do that seems to work pretty well. I bought an 8'x10' tarp and before we load the muddy ranger in the garage to come home, I lay the tarp out and load the ranger on top of it, that way you only have to clean the ramp.
I had the same problem finding that 1295 bulb, even the dealer didn't have it. I just went with a 1156 bulb, which is the bulb that has been used in trailer lights for years. I had never even heard of a 1295, neither had anyone else I talked to. The dealer did find it in a catalog and said he...
I have one on our Cyclone and love it. Maybe they have changed the design of them because the transmitter on mine has an on/off switch on the top. When you're not using it, simply turn it off to keep from running the batteries down. I'm normally setting up by my self so it saves me alot of going...
I built some adjustable shelfs for our 3812. I got some metal shelving strips (like you would see on a book case) Screwed one to each of the four corners on the inside of the cabinets. Then bought a laminated shelving material from Lowes (that is actually really close in color) to cut the...
Re: Cyclone 3812 2011 - heating/furnace not sufficient
I have a 2011 3812 and had the same problem. I pulled the acess panel in the basement and noticed thar with the furnance running i was losing alot of heat due to air leaking around all of the penetrations and joints in the heater plenum.
I...
