In theory you should get 15mpg at 60mph. I'm not sure this shape is really that aerodynamic. Not many in this forum are giving examples of fuel mileage. The best I've read is 13.5mpg with a 6 cylinder. Rpod owners are reporting only 10-12 mpg.
I'm not sure you would want to consider a HiLo. The...
I'm looking at the 180 vs 181 with slide. I've never owned a TT.
While a slide gives you extra interior room what are the maintenance issues with slides.
When the trailer is level for camping does water run off the slide roof easily without it seeping into the interior? I would imagine you...
What is the recommend maintenance for the exterior of the MPG? Is there any way to keep the fiberglass from fading and yellowing? I notice most fiberglass sided RVs look terrible after a few years in outside storage. I almost think it would be better to have painted aluminum siding. Can you...
The 181 floor plan is the one I have my eye on as a possible future purchase and it's strange they don't put a back window and another side window in the dinette area. Looks like a cave in there, all that wasted wall space. I'd prefer they leave front window out and put it in the back.
I noticed the heater placement on the MPG is in the dinette area or underneath the permanent bed. How evenly does the heater in the MPG heat up the interior? It seems the area under the dinette or bed would get too warm for those occupants while a the other end of the trailer it would be colder...
I think my preferred floor plan is the 181. I notice with all the floor plans there is no closet of any kind. The 181 has the pantry between the entry door and the bathroom where I suppose you could fold some clothes and stack them on the shelves.
Where are you MPG owners storing your clothes...
I don't have an MPG ( I wish I could find somewhere that rents them) but if I had one I would use my 10x10 collapsable awning. It folds up and and goes into a storage bag. I bet it would fit into the pass through storage compartment. It has a metal frame and you can extend the awning to several...
I wonder why the MPG doesn't come with 4 leveling jacks? You need to support the front of the trailer to make it perfectly stable. Is there not room on the front frame to put the same type of leveling jack that is found on the rear?

Do you find the shower head is too close? You can't back up from it because the toilet is in the way. Did the medicine cabinet get soaked?
If you mounted the shower head over the toilet would that work better? You can always protect the medicine cabinet better with a coat of clear poly-urethane...
I think adding the little sink and the medicine cabinet is a waste of space and no one will use them much. The kitchen sink is just outside the door and you can brush you teeth there. I guess they had to differentiate themselves from the RPod. They should do like the Rpod, make it a...
How is towing the MPG with your truck? Do you have a weigh distribution hitch or anti-sway attached?
What is the typical mileage pulling your MPG?
Thanks
Kelvin
How does one standing in the the shower adjust the water flow for the shower when the shower head is connected to the sink faucet?
With the corner shower how does the shower curtain stay within the shower pan so that water doesn't get all over the floor?
I havent' seen an Edge M18 yet but...
There is a thread on the Rpod owners forum about the poor mileage most owners are getting towing an Rpod. The rear shape of the RPod creates too much turbulence and drag. It's described as pulling a barn door. Since the shape of the MPG is similar what mileage are you getting pulling an MPG at...
