unicorn express

If this has been discussed before.please be paitent with the "new" guy.Our new to us 2009 bighorn has a tire named Unicorn.After some interesting reading I have come to learn these are made in china i think? It looks like next spring, since we won't be traveling this winter with it.I" ll be replacing them with some good ol'made in the U.S.A tires. In the mean time are Unicorn's known "chinabombs" ?

Some people refer to any tires made in China as tire bombs. I think that the Mission tire was the origional trouble maker.
I had Unicorn Express on my last trailer and had no problems with them.

i'm surprised after lot's of research at how few of american made tires there is.even brands like goodyear and michelin manufacture in china.but,their quick to ad that they are to the same "standards as american factories".i wish i could reply that i won't be spending my american money on your attempt to save money on moving to china.and trying to convince me it's o.k to buy them.i'll gladly pay more for made in the U.S.A.
