Looking for recommendations on campground near Seattle or Everett WA area stayed at Maple Grove last year but was very cramped and way off level. That was with my current coach which is only 30 ft. By the time I go to Seattle again I should have my 45ft cyclone.

Any ideas? Google was no help

Noobie.... Try looking in www.rvparkreviews.com

We were out there many years ago and love camping at the "Olympia National Park" just west of Seattle. There are several campgrounds operated by the NPS and we stayed at a very nice ( way back then... ) KOA.

I'm sure others might chime in with more current info.

Good Luck!

Noobie... It was / is located in Port Angelos / Sequim. Great access to Park and to beaches. I'm sure there is a link to it from the KOA website.

Depending on what you like in a park, the nicest one in close proximity to the Seattle area in my opinion is Lake Pleasant in Bothell. Pricy but convenient and clean! The 45 ft will be cramped unless you get one of their pull-through sites!

Port Angels and Sequim are great (Gilgal RV Park, Sequim Bay Resort) for starters but quite a distance from Seattle via an expensive ferry ride.

PM me and we can talk local areas! Depending on how close to Seattle you want to be there are many options!

If you just want a place to park for a couple days you can park for free in the rv designated parking areas at the Tulalip Casino . Its 1 exit north of Marysville and about 15 minutes to Everett. No services but a secure place well lit and patrolled by security 24/7.Factory outlet mall next store Cabellas and walmart down the street. Some decent resturants nearby as well.Tulalip casino is right on I-5 but not noisy in back of casino at night.Another casino about 15 minutes north is Angel of the winds they offer rv parking and have power and potable water along with a dump station for $15.00 per night. They give you a coupon book with $5.00 cash to play with so you only pay $10.00 if you dont gamble thats the cost. Call ahead and reserve as theres only 20 spots and its busy on weekends
Seattle doesnt have allot of good parks nearby . Give Steve and Analyn a call they can help you more

Hope this helps

Blue Sky RV in Issaquah (just 15 minutes from Seattle). Gilgal is in Sequim Wa, Rainbows End is between Sequim and Port Angeles both over an hour and a half from Seattle if you the Bainbridge Island Ferry. My suggestion is Blue Sky.............in the pines at the end of it's own road. If you think the ferry is expensive, you don't ride it often......very good deal!
