Battery Life

I own a 2009 Bighorn 3055 and I have the convenience of parking if 15 ft from my house on a paved pad. I keep it plugged in 24/7. Is this bad for the battery? I heard that if I had a Smart(?) converter it wouldn't hurt the battery because it would basically "tricle charge". Does the Bighorn have such a converter?

You heard correctly. The smart charge will trickle.
Mine is always plugged in.

Peace

And, it could probably go without saying,,,,,,,,, but I'll say it anyway; Keep a close eye on your electrolite level in your batteries. I've added water to my batteries several times in the 18 months we have had the BH. As well, I leave the BH plugged in even when it is idle in the storage yard. Always use only distilled water when adding liquid to your batteries; never use sulfuric acid when adding liquid to a used or previously charged battery.
