The Rally will be held at the Desert Gold RV Resort. The physical address is in the town of Brenda, mailing address is in Salome. If you are using a GPS, some units will not accept Brenda as a city. Salome is about 6 miles to the east of Brenda.
All RSVP must come through the AZ Chapter Leader and "NOT" Desert Gold RV Resort. I will handle all names until the designated date Sept 1, 2014, at which time the names will be given to Linda at the RV Resort. You will be notified when this takes place and will have about two weeks to call Linda with your Credit Card confirmation. No exceptions, as Linda will not take your individual reservation for the Rally until after I transfer the name list to her. I will post the phone number for you to call when the time comes. Once the name list has been confirmed, late bookings may or may not be in the same section as the Rally attendees. Every effort will be made, so if this is important to you, make your reservations early.
CHECK IN 9 AM -5 pm: CHECK OUT by Noon. The RV Resort will escort all rigs into their space and help you park. It is important to follow the way they direct you. Every site location has a Palm Tree and if you don't follow the guides, you will have a difficult time backing around the Palm Tree and into your space. It's not a problem if you approach it from the proper side. This may not be your Drivers side in most locations. On exception only, they will set up a late check in, but the Rally Group must guide you in. Potluck dinner will be held on the Thursday of the Rally. Details will follow as we have the option of using an inside room or the outdoor BBQ. The evenings get into the 30's in Jan and we will decide the venue in a few weeks.
The Quartzsite RV Show, which is the largest RV Show in the world will be held Jan 17-25, 2015. The show breaks up around 4 pm daily. Our Rally is planned for 4 days, however you may arrive early or stay late to get the weekly rate. Just let me know your dates in conjunction with the Rally.
Please note that any activities in which we use the Party room, you may bring in alcoholic beverages. One stipulation, we must clean up the room when done and this includes taking all trash bags, to the dumpster.
No beer cans or bottles may be left in the room.
Fires: There is a Fire Ring in the BBQ area and that is the only place a Fire is AUTHORIZED....This BBQ area is very nice and has 110V outlets available. Two 55 gallon drums make up the BBQ. We will need to reserve this space for any activities we want to plan in this area.

Wed Eve: 6:00 pm Lippert Seminar in the Clubhouse and Social hour, bring your drink of choice.
Thur Eve: 5:30 - 8pm In the Clubhouse...Pot luck Dinner....Steak and chicken fajitas furnished by the Chapter, bring your own plates and utensils.
Fri Eve: 6:00- 8pm Clubhouse...Steal a Gift Night....Bring a gift valued between $10-15. Each person or rig with a gift will receive a ticket for each gift. All gifts will be on a display table. The first number drawn will select from any gift. The next number drawn will select from the table or take another persons gift. If your gift in hand is taken from you, you will select from the table. Only the drawn number may steal a gift or select from the table. A twist...after all gifts have been taken, there will be a secret person drawn that will have the final selection from any gift and exchange their gift with the one they steal...game over.
Sat eve: 6:00 - 8pm Clubhouse...Door prizes, 50/50 drawing & Raffle, Social hour in club house.
