What a great area to have a rally with all the Civil War Battlegrounds nearby. From Lookout Mountain Battle to Chickamauga Battlegrounds, this area is rich in history which molded our Nation. Downtown Chattanooga is another treat in itself with the Tennessee Aquarium and the river walk. Go ahead and book early.

Note - the campground is just south of the address listed by approx. 1 block. The exit to take off of I-75 is exit 1.

This is great news as we live about 20 minutes from this park. Just be advised that if the weather is rainy the campground can get pretty soft and will hold water.

I suppose we can go that far into Rebel country. Surely there is a golf course somplace around there. Figure us for getting in on Wednesday and leaving on Monday. I will shot for our usual extra activity on Thursday morning for those interested.

There are several good golf courses within 30 minutes of the campground.

The map of the campground has been uploaded on the first post. This is a great area for those who love history, especially Civil War in that there are two great battlegrounds nearby - Chickamauga and Lookout Mountain. We will have to work around a Civil War theme.

We won't be able to make this rally but Chattanooga is an awesome town for a rally. Lots of things to see and do in the area. We go once or twice a year as we're so close. But we'll be out west at this time. Have fun y'all!

Come see for yourself why visitors like you rate the Tennessee Aquarium the best aquarium in America for overall guest satisfaction. Enjoy a remarkable journey from the mountains to the sea as you explore above and below the surface in the Aquarium’s two buildings.
