Elaine and I have been checking out campgrounds all over Illinois. We are going to have the 2017 Illinois Rally at Hickory Hollow Campground in Utica Illinois.

Local attraction in the area includes Starved Rock State Park-- Located on the Illinois River bluff, one of Illinois most beautiful destinations.

This campground is expected to be full during the month of August, we have 18 sites reserved until 45 days before the rally, they will then go back to the campground. After that they will try and place you as close to the group as possible.

Paul you need to fix the pets are allowed you have no and I checked the site and it says they are . This might make people not want to come if they think they can't bring them.

We plan to attend although I have not called the CG yet.
It'll be a straight shot north to the WI Rally.

181mi from CG to CG.

The campground is closed for the winter and will re-open April 1. You can call Sandy anytime and leave a message or call on a Wednesday or Friday between 10 & 12 she will be there. -

Jackie and I will be there
We are thinking about going from there to Wisconsin rally.
Will register with campground first part of April.

We will not be able to come it is a 5 hour drive and Kenny has a treatment on Thursday . To far to drive back and forth but we are thinking about the Wi. Rally . he has treatments every other week.

Looks like you picked a great location for a Rally. We will try to attend.

Just called Hickory Hollow and left a message.
Plan to arrive 8-1 and depart on 8-6 then head straight north to the Wisconsin Rally.

Just got my call back from the campground and we are reserved to arrive on August 1st. Site G-7

We are reserved coming in July 30th till August 6th didn't get a site number but we will be there going to Wisconsin from there and then Ohio

Kenny and I were thinking about coming in on AUG 4 and leave on the 6 then do WI rally. He has a treatment on the 3 so we have to wait till that is over.

Great to see Heartlanders signing up for the Illinois rally! For those who haven't reserved a spot yet, the campground is closed until April 1st, but you can leave a message for Sandy and she will return your call. We plan to post more soon.

Don't feel bad Jon she wouldn't give me a site number either !! LOL!!
