Making wax

Went on an interesting call earlier today. Young individual in a mobile home was cooking himself a batch of “wax” when it blew up on him. He was relatively unhurt (other than soiled shorts), but it blew all the windows out and lifted part of the roof. From the looks of it, he was only doing a small batch.

He now has temporary lodging in the county jail.

OK, I'll bite, what is making "'wax"?

It is heating marijuana in a tube and extracting the THC. It makes a wax like substance that is smoked.
