Hi Janna3,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. Whether you end up with a Bighorn or a Big Country, you and your family will love it and have a wonderful time making memories.

When you take delivery of the new trailer, the dealer will walk you through to explain the operation of everything in the trailer - a Pre-Delivery Inspection. One of our owners put together a Pre-Delivery Checklist that's in this folder. It'll help you ensure everything is operating correctly and that you understand it all. There's a lot to cover, so if possible, a 2nd person should video the walk through. That'll let you review the material afterward. Take your time.

It's also a good idea to stay a night or two at the dealership or nearby. You might find something that isn't quite right. Get agreement in advance from the Service Manager that if you find anything that needs to be corrected, that you can bring it in and have it worked on while you wait, rather than having to drop it off and return at a later date.

Feel free to ask questions on the forum and to share your adventures. And check out the Heartland Owners Club. It's free to join and membership gets you into rallies where you'll make new friends and have a great time.
