I need to remove the built-in slide-out bike rack on my Pioneer RV220...if it will gain me a few hundred pounds in trailer load capacity. Can it be just "unbolted" or is it welded to the frame? Would removing it change WDH mounting?
Has anyone thought of adding a bumper to the rear? I would like to install a bumper and hitch to put one of those flat racks you can place objects on. Seems a better idea than trying to cram bins in the garage with the Harley. Also, the bumper could double as a sewer hose holder like you see on...
Has anyone used the rear bumper slide out bike rack? Have you used it to carry bikes or other gear? Are there any pictures or instructions of carrying a bike?
I would like to build a rack, or attach one somehow to the rear bumper on my 3250ts to carry my generator and fuel. The weight of the rack, generator, and fuel will be 500 lbs or less. Can you tell me if the rear bumper supports that are welded to the frame will support this? Other manufactures...
Does anyone know if it is possible/practical to retrofit a 2008 BHS with the new bumper/bike rack as in this photo?

If so, how much for the rack and what would be involved with doing it?
Thanks,
Paul
Got tired of lifting the generator in + out of the storage compartment to use it. I re-used the square U-bolts from the factory bumper spare tire holder along with about 7' of 2 "x 2" x 3/16" angle iron to fab the support. Sticks out about 10" from the ladder but i can live with it.
Can anyone tell me how much weight and Eagle Ridge will hold? I bought a portable generator and would like to put a reciever hitch on my back bumper and carry it back there when we need it.
We have a 2010 3200 RE, and would like to put a bike rack on the rear bumper. Is the rear bumper strong enough and sturdy enough to be able to put a bike rack on it?
Made a removable bracket to hold the generator at the rear of the unit. This gen. support will only be used while parked during dry camping and overnites at a rest stop. I still store the gen. in the truck bed. Noted the AC makes more noise inside the unit than this low cost generator.
