I purchased a 2018 Heartland Fuel 352 Toy Hauler. It has 2 of the Dometic Single Zone Thermostats.
These things are absolutely horrible and I have no idea why Heartland has installed them in their homes.
Both of them have a hard time seeing the display. You can only see it once you touch it...
The bathroom gets really hot. The master bedroom a little. Living room a little and the kitchen vent NOTHING. I looked at the heater and it's very hard to get to first off but there are 2 flex pipes coming out of the top that seamed crimped. I asked them to fix this since I'm the second owner...
Opened the partition in the storage area of my 3270RS Bighorn today for the first time. Wanted to scope things out down there. I located the converter in there, obviously the furnace and all the electric and water lines. I then vacuumed up metal and wood shavings. I then noticed the two duct...
Hello! I am a first time RV owner and this will be my first winter living in one. I currently live in the Sisters/Bend Oregon area and temperatures can get below freezing in winter. I have a 2010 Heartland Elkridge 35dsrl that has an inclosed underbelly with heated tanks and I am going to...
Is there an option to have electric heating pads put in the belly of a BH under each tank so you don't need to run the furnace to keep them from freezing?
If not, how hard is it to drop the belly cover?
Thanks,
Sue
Are there any high efficiency heating systems for our rigs. I assume most of us have the same type of heater. I was just wondering if there were any upgrades to the furnaces that can be installed in our units?
I was cleaning the oven and noticed a 4" coiled wire stuck in the upper grill. It appears to be a heating coil that may have been part of the oven. The oven seems to be working, but I am somewhat concerned. Any suggestions? Thanks
All RV units need to be equipped according to size.........
This is an obsevation, not a gripe, after 3 seasons of owning our rig................
We love or rig, I mean we really like the BH.
This is our fourth RV and hands down the horn is head and shoulders above the...
Guys, when you are traveling down the road and it's freaking cold, do you leave your heat on in the RV while you travel? We were coming home and stopped at the ole walmart stop-over and it was freaking cold. :) WHEW! It took a long time to warm up in there. And our bed was SO cold. LOL
Thanks.
I have been thinking about how to keep the pipes from freezing in our 2900mk. We are not done camping (heading out this weekend) but I am concerned about when we park it during the week. Here in the hill country of Texas we do get cold tempertures at night and sometime during the days throughout...
Ok here we go!! I have not even got the chance to camp in my new Sundance yet and am already fixing things....
Yesterday I spent almost 6 hours in the dealership so they could adjust my rear bedroom slide.. what ever thats cool... it was just something that had to be done... the dealership was...
