I am traveling for work and would love to take my motorcycle with me. I have found a product called the swivel wheel trailer that would be perfect but I need to add a hitch reciever to my fifth wheel. I'm looking for any information I can get about how others have gone about installing the...
Hi, I have recently purchased a 29SLE. This is my second trailer. My first trailer had roof leaks and I would like to try to preserve the quality of this roof by getting ahead of any potential issues. Please feel free to offer any advice or share stories about this. Thanks.
I was thinking...
Hi All
I wanted a dishwasher and this one is supposed to be pretty good, using only two gallons of water. Fisher Paykel DD24SCX7 DishDrawer 24" Stainless
Hope this helps and maybe Heartland will see it and consider offering this as an option. See the pics with notes. When I removed the...
Hubby built a shelf to store towels and wash cloths in bathroom. I can't claim credit for the idea, we saw it in someone's BC in Pigeon Forge while camping. I can't remember their names.
But they just used a bungie cord to hold it up while traveling, so I can take credit for using the cabinet...
In the summer I was able to modify the King bed frame to fit our new Queen size bed.
I narrowed the frame on one side by 12" and centered the bed frame on the center of the slide.
While I had the frame appart I took the chance to lift the front of the bed by 1 1/2" so my head would be up...
wondering if any M22 owners have attempted modifying the water supply to the shower? I know it might be a minor thing, having to use the hose from the bathroom sink to supply your shower water, but just wondering...
we haven't purchased the M22 yet, just thinking about things we might want to...
Just wanted to share a modification (installation) that I did for a tv in the storage compartment. The TV is a 32" LCD HDTV that is connected to either the antena or the satalite dish. Also, not shown is a device that I use to control the channels on the dish receiver from outside that is...
I have spent the month of october and 1/2 of november in the trailer and was very comfortable in the cold. While parked I build an insulated box with an open top that I placed over the Drain pipe and valve. Even on Mornings in the low 20's I never experienced any freezing on the unit, and I...
I looking for some help from someone with a little electrical savy.
I would like to do a modification on my Sundance 2900mk.
On various occasions I seen RVs "parked" on resort sites with all their exterior lights on at night (all lit up just like when your driving down the road), especially...
This is a pretty simple one. The fan light over the stove is basically useless if you need to see anything. The 12V light under the cabinet next to the microwave points the wrong way. Replace the 12V light with a 9-LED array and turn the fixture 180 degrees so that the lens faces the stove...
These photos are of some mods I made earlier, based on ideas from the forums. The heater duct mod removed a three foot droop in the basement and improved the airflow to the bedroom register.
I'm also happy to report that so far this summer, everything works :D.
for a little more storage space we converted the "blank" drawer space below the sink to a hinged face panel with a "catch-all" for odds and ends.
the hardware is available at home-stores. heartland was kind enough so provide the drawer face and handle - we really appreciated that!
One of the things that we did not like about the 21fbs was the fact that the table had to be put down while traveling. We like to stop at truck stops or along the side of the road and make a coffee and just sit at the table and have a rest.
The 21fbs was lacking this feature, but, my husband...
On the 26RKS the water heater is on the street-side of the front storage compartment. It seems like it would be trivial to add a water heater drain by an additional valve/hose at the water heater bypass.
Is there a reason why the only documented/official method I can find to drain the water...
