Most of you folks have 50 amp service and have updated your surge protector. I have never had 50 amp service and only have one A/C and have always had plenty of performance with the 30 amp. I know someone has a 30 amp protector they are dying to get rid of cheap. Get it touch and lets make a deal.

Just installed a Progressive Ind. 50 AMP hardwired EMS. I removed the "pass-thru" carpeted panel for access, and cut the 50 amp cable at that point before it connected to the breaker panel. Quite a hard job to get the current sensors around the hot legs and then stuffed into the box. Unit works...

We are having problems with power surges. The power was off a few days due to the hurricane. Now that is back on, the voltage is fluctuating 122-136 (reading on the surge protector). The surge protector kicks off at 132 volts but when it drops the power is back on. Probably not a good thing...
