'06 Dodge 3500 transmission tow button

My '07 Dodge 3500 Cummins auto trans has a tow/overdrive button on the end of the shift lever. The tow position is great for towing rig as it stops the torque lock up clutch from engaging/disengaging constantly on a hard pull.

A relative is looking at an '06 Dodge 3500 Cummins. Does anyone know if the '06s are equipped with the two position switch for towing? My older Dodge only had a single position O/D lockout button.

Yes the 06 is set up like that. The button has "Tow-Haul" and "O/D lockout".

On my 2006 3500 automatic, there's a button on the end of the shift lever. Press once for Tow/ Haul mode, twice for O/D Off mode.

Have an '06 MegaCab Dually (picture coming soon) and yes it has the tow/lock out button. Get to try it out shortly when the new 2011 3610RE shows up......

Our 05 2500 Dodge Cummins had the tow/lock out button as a standard feature.
