2900MK Empty weight?

Does anyone know why the 2010 2900MK is 1000 lbs heavier than the 2009? Thanks, I'm in the market and trying to decide between the 2009/2010.

I can't give you any help about the weights, but someone will jump in soon.

The 2009 2900MK has a dry wt. of 8,741lbs. The 2010 2900MK has a dry wt. of 9,020lbs. We haven't changed a thing on the units however, we installed new scales at the end of the line that weighs each unit going out the door. 2009 models didn't have the options included in the dry wt. the 2010 models have all the options included in the dry wt. so they both should weigh just about the same.
