We are taking our new Sundance 3000 MK 5th wheel up the coast to the redwoods next week. We are dying to camp in Jed Smith. The stated length limit for trailers is 31 feet. When I called the ranger, he told me that the sites are plenty large enough for us but the roads and turning is tricky. He did admit that longer rigs have been let in and have set up but he tried very hard to talk us out of trying it. Basically said that it depends on who is at the kiosk if we are even let in.
I see on the RV park review website that others have camped here, including someone who stated that his whole rig was 51' long! Has anyone else had experience in this gorgeous campground? There are days when I think we should have gotten a shorter 5th wheel. Sigh!
